“We had a king sized room on the second floor. Comfortable bed. Amazing views of the lake plus it was lovely to have a balcony with outside seating. It was easy to control the heating. Good self service breakfast.”

“After a lovely welcome I was upgraded to a bigger bedroom which was light and airy with a really comfortable bed.
I knew breakfast was in the room but there was a table and chairs and the fridge was packed with fresh milk, orange juice, yogurts and bread. There was a good choice of cereals, jams etc and there was fresh ground coffee, teabags and hot chocolate available.
This is a 2 minute walk from the station and about 5 minutes into Stamford so really handy
I had a meal in the restaurant……

Couldnt get seated in the restaurant due to other large group bookings, so was suggested ro pull tables together to meet need. Food was good. Just lacked a bit of character really. Functional...”
