“Our family of 5 had a delightful stay at Lameshur Cottage and Campsites. We stayed in the 2 turtle containers. We found them to be comfortable and especially enjoyed wrapping up our by night sitting on the porch, recounting the adventures from our day on St. John. Our 12 year old especially enjoyed the frisbee golf and feeding the bananaquits. There are also some friendly cats that kept us company whenever we visited the restroom. I did take off 1 star for cleanliness, but only because the room……

“Our stay for 8 nights at this property had some ups and downs. We were without power for 3 days, but did get refunded for 2 nights. It was difficult at times to communicate with the host. Having no AC, no power, and no ho hot water for 3 days was challenging. On the other hand, this property is very clean, and convenient in a great location. Red Hook is very close by. The beaches nearby were beautiful. Although the power was out, we really enjoyed our stay.”

“The Mermaid’s Pearl was a comfortable fit for my son (19) and me. It is located in a quiet complex with a beautiful view from the balcony. The studio is a perfect size for two people and was very clean. We enjoyed the local restaurant (Sudi’s) and the pool just outside the front door, as well as the short walk to the Safire Beach complex (local coffee shop and eateries on the beach). “Unfortunately, the pool was under construction during our stay and unusable, but we didn't allow that to stop us. The beach was quite and relaxing, thus Westin has a family vibe and good for children. The staff was friendly. I do think they can do better at advertising the water and children's activities. The rooms were excellent and resturants too. Ferry service and crew were great too. Great stay for a family of 5!”
