“Tiki Beach Resort. Road 2 Hours to Hotel to have owners claim that Hotels.com has scammer that is booking their resort without their knowledge. Said that cabin I paid for on Hotels.com was not available. The owners felt bad for me and were going to get me lodging. First, stating they were putting me in a nicer property closer to my destination. But ultimately provided a room in motel further from my destination and way less expensive than what I paid for. I thanked them for the offer. ……

“They greeted us when we arrived and taught us the history of the property. The cottage was a great place to stay and we loved the grill and fire pit!”

“Very cozy cottage in an excellent location. Parking was easy as well as communication with the host. It looks small from the outside, but inside was surprisingly roomy with a big bathroom and kitchen. There were four of us and it was comfortable. Would definitely stay here again!”

Appreciate the prompt communication and ease of check in/check out process. We look forward to coming back to Pepin in warmer weather and will not hesitate to book this home again! ”

“The cabin is brand new and very modern. The location is beautiful and remote. The bed was very comfortable, and the in-floor heat made the temperature cozy and not drafty in negative degree weather. The host leaves a nice note and basket of treats for the guests. While I tend to bring most of what I need with me, in an emergency I noticed the cabin has many items you could forget. i.e. q-tips, body wash, shampoo, coffee filters, olive oil, spices, etc... I think this belongs to the owners so……

“Cute cabin right on the river- we were in town for the Force Fields music festival and we didn't want to mess with camping at the venue (we like our sleep) and it was less than a 10 min drive and was perfect for what we needed. We cooked big steaks outside on the charcoal grill and ate at a cute wooden table along the water. The bathroom shower could use some work and maybe an updated A/C unit but it has everything we needed.”
