"We had a lovely week at la Roche! We particularly loved the pool for the kids, the multiple seating options, and the air con upstairs (although to be honest, even the non-air con rooms stayed relatively cool despite mid 30s temps). We found it very well equipped and clean, and so peaceful! "The house is lying in a small quiet village. 10 min. from shops and restaurants. The kids (and we) enjoyed the pool a lot. They house is big and stays cool. Philip has been a great host! Very friendly and open to share advice on things to do in the area. The house has everything you need inlcuding TV and good wifi inside and out. The dog is very friendly, also for the kids. We had a great relaxing time! Thanks Phil!"

"Nous avons passé un super séjour dans ce gîte très cosy, au calme et proche de sites incontournables. La piscine, le jacuzzi et le gîte sont très bien entretenus par des propriétaires très accueillants. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié le parc ombragé et clôturé équipé de jeux pour enfants et pour adultes, la piscine chauffée et le jacuzzi. Tout était parfait pour des vacances inoubliables."

"We spent a fantastic week at the property. Our party was made up of 4 adults and 2 children (aged 7 and 2). The pictures of the property do not do it justice! It’s spacious, clean and has everything you need for a great holiday. The location of the property is ideal for exploring all that the Dordogne has to offer. "Took wife, daughter and her friend. It was a long way from the nearest autoroute but a lovely drive through France. It took about 7 hours from Caen (will fly to Bergerac next time) The farmhouse was beautiful, clean and spacious. Comfy beds, well-catered kitchen, good WiFi. Nearby (1k walk) Monpazier had everything we needed, 2 x Boulangerie, v important, lots of bars, especially the Bier de la Bastide. "Lovely views from the pool out across French countryside. Pool is modern, clean and good size. Some issues with the electric cover, but that was down to a failed sensor which is on order. House is lovely and unspoilt, we loved it. But for some the interior lighting might be on the dim side. This did not bother us as we were out by the pool most of the time. "This was the most perfect house for our extended family to reconnect and relax in. The house was beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed. The outside spaces were lovely, with plenty of options for a large group to socialise. We particularly enjoyed the outside kitchen, pool and table tennis in the barn. "Great staff, secure covered parking, clean rooms. Not the nicest part of town, but close to trains and within walking distance of the historic city centre. The dingy hallways detracted from the nice rooms, reception and breakfast areas. "
