Nuestros 1,100 pies cuadrados El condominio Cascade Village (Unidad 362) (menos de 2 millas al norte de Purgatory Ski Area, 25 millas al sur de Durango) con dos dormitorios y dos baños es un gran escape para una aventura de montaña. Cascade Village está a menos de 2 millas al norte de Durango Mountain Resort Ski Area, 26 millas (menos de 30 minutos) al norte de Durango y 25 millas al sur de Silverton (menos de 30 minutos).

Very Nice Condo and a Great Location

The condo was clean and very well organized. We enjoyed the fireplace and there was plenty of firewood available in the garage. The complex was well maintained, and the garage was located under the building which made it very convenient. The location worked very well for our visit. It made it easy to visit Ouray, Silverton, and Durango. We definitely recommend this unit, and we will try to book this condo in the future.

The location of this condo is great. It’s just 5 minutes from Purgatory Ski Resort so very convenient. The condo had plenty of space for our family of five. There were several things that could have made our stay at this property better. First, the condo was not completely clean when we arrived. The surfaces were dusty as if someone had cleaned weeks ago but hadn’t come in before our stay to touch up. The management company was responsive and partially refunded the cleaning fee. However, there were also several dishes that were not clean on our arrival and we had to clean them prior to use and a towel with stains that the management company did not see as an issue. We later learned that the dishwasher wasn’t very effective so the dirty dishes were likely a result of that. Being new to Cascade Village, it would have been nice to have a map of the property to show us where the fitness facility was and the pool/hot tub and info about when the shuttles were running to and from Purgatory. We called the office line several times but no one was available. We did find out that the shuttles only run 2 times per day, once in the morning to Purgatory and then once in the afternoon back to the property. Cascade Village, in general was a nice place, however it felt under cared for - the fitness room was not clean and neither was the hot tub/pool. The place has a ton of potential just needs a little extra love.

Fantastic location for summer mountain fun

Being about half way between Silverton and Durango allowed us to easily do the Alpine loop keep rental , see Ouray(stunning mountains and Box canyon water fall), Durango hot springs (5stars), river raft in Durango and spend half day at Purgatory ski areas (summer slide, coaster, go carts and ski lift ride). With no long driving. Any drive is gorgeous. The kitchen had all we needed and hiking out the back door excellent! Even a wood burning fireplace WITH wood provided) so glad we found this gem!

Ski get away

It was a great cozy and comfortable condo. Only complaints were the upstairs tub had not been cleaned…. When we turned on the jets pink pieces of material came floating out…. And there were big black flies everywhere ….. other than that no complaints

Comfortable condo

The kitchen was incredibly well stocked. The beds were comfy. The condo was very clean. It was perfect for four people The only negative is that the appliances need to be updated. The property manager was very responsive.

Felt like home

The unit was perfect for our stay. The kids were sad when we were told from the front desk that only “owners” were allowed to use the pool. We were given the code to enter the pool in the communications about our stay so we tried to call the number given for questions but there was no answer.

Family Fun Stay

We had a great time. The condo was neat and clean. Plenty of room for everyone. Our little on enjoyed the big bathtub upstairs. Location was great for where we wanted to travel. Would stay here again for sure.

The Perfect Place

This place was absolutely perfect for the adventures we had planned. A short drive to Silverton and Durango-Durango is highway speed all the way, no mountain switch backs, good or bad, it was nice to get there to hit some of the great restaurants. Griego's, small menu but packed with flavor. Action Adventures was a great horse ride up Red Mountain. Back to the condo, very clean, nothing needing repair. Comfy and plenty of firewood for the fireplace. Jacuzzi tub sufficed inlieu of hot tubs and pool closed due to covid. Plenty of cooking utensils and dishes. Buy your groceries in Durango. (plenty of salt and pepper in utility room) The washer and dryer were nice, check the dryer for more towels and such, we didn't need the extra but found them when doing some laundry. We unloaded in front with only one flight of stairs and parked in covered area with three flights. if stairs are an issue, msg the hosts if they have another with less stairs. It was a non issue as we spent most of our time out doing things. Oh, there are nice hiking trails so you don't have to drive and park somewhere. Couldn't find a trail to the top of the mountain behind condos, but it is a 1500' ascent.
