It's probably not for everyone, but way up high in the mountains above Taos, new Mexico is a little ghost town that also housed a Serial Killer back in the late 1800's. "Door opened on 1st try then after that became difficult so we felt safest just leaving it unlocked. House was clean and you can tell theyre working on upgrading little things. Lots of bumpy dirt road to navigate if youre on a bike. "

The Historic Taos Inn

10/10 Excellent

"The staff was friendly and very accommodating. Our room, 111 was nicely appointed with comfortable, charming furniture and the bed was great for sleeping. Doc Martin, the restaurant next door was so delish that we ate there both nights. They had a band that played on Sat night that was really good and people danced between the tables. Fun atmosphere and since the band starts early, they are done by 9:00 so the hotel quiet’s down for the evening after late."
