The included breakfast had numerous choices and the fruit was fresh and wonderful. The lodge was within walking distance of the plaza with many shops, restaurants and galleries. "Everything about this was wonderful. The service was personal and exceptional. Lucas, the manager was first rate. The property is nestled among cottonwoods just SE of downtown. It was quiet and close. Our room was spacious and lovely with a courtyard garden area, dining area, fireplace, coffee, fridge and AC. The bathroom was huge, beautiful and spa like. The jetted tub and walk in shower all done in marble. Exceptional!!! The kids enjoyed the pool located at a larger sister property and we all loved a gourmet breakfast there. Our mistake was not having cash to leave for gratuities. The service was always impeccable! "

"What I loved, the beds and shower I miss already! The Ponderosa is currently undergoing a transformation and our room was clean with all new furnishings and windows. Small kitchenette with full size refrigerator. We walked everywhere but Mike can rent you a golf cart at a very reasonable price if you need. Food choices were all within a six or seven minute walk for us. Very quiet at night with no disturbances. We definitely will return. Mike was attentive and easy to reach. "
