“This is a real gem. A tranquil oasis after a long day on the road. Absolutely charming lodgings surrounded by lovely gardens, as well as a koi pond, hot tub and pool fed by mineral springs. There's even a fire pit and a wine garden. When we arrived we relaxed in the tea room with complimentary treats: a choice of teas, scones ( the best) and butter cookies and strawberries. I really appreciated the thoughtful amenities in the room as well. There is a large soaker tub to enjoy the mineral baths...

“This was quite possibly the best hotel I have ever visited. The staff was amazing. The breakfasts were complex, interesting, and absolutely perfect in every way. The rooms included every amenity one could think of and several I could not have thought of. The hotel preserved a great deal of the history of the house, even things like a stereopticon with hundred-year-old pictures of the house. The staff was able to accommodate a celiac visitor who normally cannot eat out anywhere. I expect I will...
