Staff was friendly, but the entire hotel was old and run down. The hotel itself was clean enough, until you looked at the beds themselves. The sheets, blankets and comforters had HUGE and multiple stains. I took one blanket down to the front desk for replacement as it appeared someone had spilled orange pop on it. Almost as if it had not even been washed at all. The new one was clean and they were happy to replace it. We took the bed covers off as they were horrific with stains. Breakfast was almost non-existent. Cereal and waffles. Nothing else. Not even a piece of fruit. Milk was gone. Had to go to front desk, TWICE to get milk for cereal. The only thing to eat!!! It was rough overall, but the cost was low and I can see why now. Sad. It just needs a little TLC.

There was small things like stains in the carpet and seating in dining area and dirt around toilet area but overall good hotel and would stay here again.

A view out into Maumee Bay from the endpoint of the 3/4 mile peninsula at Cullen Park, the westernmost point of Lake Erie. As a kid, I would return home from walking the peninsula with pockets full of sand worn smooth beach glass of all different colors that I still have to this day.
