Two in our family even braved the river for a cold dunk before suana. The hosts were wonderfully responsive and helpful. Everyone had a blast. Highly recommend.”

“We loved the property and once we got sorted out about being able to bring our dogs everything was great. The area is lovely and the fenced yard was a plus. The house was comfortably furnished and well stocked. Eclipse day was cloudy but we were able to get views from the back yard. We used extra days to explore some natural areas, awesome and I got to hang out with both my sons and DIL in a roomy house on a beautiful lake.”

The owner is communicative and helpful, and we were a good fit as a family looking to have a pretty relaxed time, as opposed to a party. The big couches, kitchen table and deck table on the low deck overlooking the big, rolling lawn helped us relax upon arrival. “The property is well equipped and comfortable. Its easy to get to and right on the lake. Beautiful picture windows overlook Oneida Lake, and make the living area so serene. It was very rainy while we were there, but that did not lessen our enjoyment of this cute lake house!”

“Location is great - overlooking the Erie Canal. Basic home is also great - spacious and accommodating. My family actually had a great time at our eclipse watching reunion. But there were a lot of irritating maintenance issues. Biggest was the front door key code lock would not lock from the outside. We finally figured out we could lock the front door from the inside and exit our whole group through the garage and still leave the house secure. Owner was not there to let us in and did not provide...
