A washer/dryer provides the added convenience to refresh and prepare for the next day of adventure.

This home is a short drive into the town of Eastsound, where the local restaurants and shopping are second to none. Crescent Beach is located just a mile-and-a-half away offering remarkable views of the East Sound itself. If you're looking for a short hike, the Crescent Beach Preserve makes for a lovely walk through woodlands. North Beach, only four miles away, is another excellent area to explore with its pebbly shore and striking views of sunsets and the outer islands.

We had an amazing time at this rental. Super nice space, great windows, incredible forest views, kitchen fully stocked(although new pans would be nice!) very spacious and only a few minutes to Moran state park! We will definitely be back!

Comfortable cabin in the woods
We found the place very clean, quiet, and more spacious than imagined. It is conveniently located between Eastsound for shopping and restaurants and Moran State Park and beyond for hikes. We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful place and area. Disappointed there was no TV. Two bedrooms upstairs with one bath. Second main bath was downstairs. Looks like the master bedroom was being used as a game room.

Great stay, needs a couple things
Overall it was a very great stay! It was clean and comfortable, but could’ve used a few items to make it perfect. What it could use: box fan for summer (bedrooms got hot), kitchen is so nice and perfect for cooking but it’s lacking: wine opener (which we bought and donated to the house), olive oil, aluminum foil, knife sharpener. We drove right past the place at first because gps is not accurate, gps takes you farther up the hill, so that might be good to add to the location info. Overall, it was beautiful, great wildlife in the area, clean, and a great price! Those few things it was missing were the only things keeping me from giving it the full 5 stars. We really enjoyed our stay!!!

Lovely home
Lovely deck with small table to sit and watch the deer wander through the back yard. Large windows in the bedrooms and living spaces. Vacasa was responsive to electrical outlets not working in either bathroom. We found the electrical panel and fixed the issue. Short drive to Moran State Park and into Eastsound for shopping, walking or meals. From the home, take a forested drive down to Olga for a delicious lunch at Lascaux Café. (Allow a lot of time at the café. There were only two employees the day we were there—but well worth the wait!)

Really wanted to love this rental
We stayed at the rental for 4 nights. We really wanted to love it and give 5 stars. The good: Excellent location. Short drive to town and to the state park. A perfect landing spot for all of your activities. The large yard was great and made it feel very private. The bad: when we arrived the floors clearly had not been vacuumed since the last guests. There were also hairs on the pillow cases. The dishwasher was broken and was full of dirty dishes when we arrived. Towards the end of the stay we noticed the kitchen sink was leaking. Fully understand that things happen and if just one or two of these things occurred, we would’ve given a much higher rating. The property management team was understanding and easy to work with, but having to talk with them so much took away from the trip. Other info: the kitchen is not well stocked. If you’re planning on cooking make sure you bring your own oil and spices! Hopeful that our experience was a one off. Next time we are in Orcas Island I would still consider this property! The location is hard to beat.

Beautiful surroundings and rental
We had a few glitches when we arrived. A new maid was borrowed from another island—there were some issues. The back door lock didn’t lock either. It was difficult to correspond because we were in the woods. Had to go to corner store to get phone to work. But on day two someone finally came and got everything in order. He was very nice and the local contact was helpful after they were notified by Vacasa. It is a lovely place. Looks as advertised and is spacious. Plenty of dishes and cooking utensils.

Quiet weekend on Orcas
My husband and I (and our dog) loved staying here. Five minute drive to town but the house feels like it’s back in the woods. You can hear some road noise during the day but that ends around 6 or 7. I would not plan on working remotely unless you bring a hot spot with you. WIFI dropped every 15-20 minutes when I was working but it was perfectly functional the rest of the trip with phones and streaming on iPad. Plenty of kitchen tools but I would recommend packing your favorite seasonings as there was little more than salt and pepper. All in all we would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends. Very comfortable and cozy!!

Beautiful home, but a little close to the road
The home is beautiful and a great size for our family of 4 (two adults, a 3 year old, and an infant). The amenities were nice too and the house was in good condition. My only issue was that the property is that it is pretty close to a busy road and the traffic on the road is loud. While this might not be an issue for some, if your hoping to have a sense of “getting away from it all” the constant stream of cars will diminish the experience.

Modern, clean, and great location!
This is a beautiful, modern house nestled out in the woods. Huge windows throughout with some old growth trees - it had the peaceful feeling of being out in the woods standing inside. Only minutes from a little store, the beach, and Moran state park. Check in and check out were super easy too. Great price for what it is - and even better that they allow pets. Even had dog bowls out for our dog.

This cabin worked great for our family! It's convenient to Eastsound, tucked in the woods, with modern amenities and all we needed for a long weekend. We loved it was dog friendly and close to Orcas' awesome dog park. We booked a Fall trip before we left!

We really appreciated the unfussy cleanliness and completeness of the accommodations. We did have a wrestling match with the can opener and would have liked an extra blanket and pillow of two, but really there are no complaints and we would love to come back.

Perfect for family with a dog
I really appreciate that this rental is dog friendly and toddler friendly. My husband, 2 year old and I took my mother-in-law for a trip for her birthday and a much needed getaway for us. The house is tucked away in a forest beside a creek with views of the water through the trees. Loved the big windows. The kitchen was well stocked (the addition of one larger baking/casserole dish would be my only recommended improvement). Great location near grocery store, beach and short drive to Moran State Park. Would definitely stay here again.
