A perfect house in Edinburgh

The very high level standards of this apartment are really difficult to find in holiday homes as people really don't care much about all the diferent aspects of them, like furniture, decoration, electronical devices, cuttlery, etc. In this home everything is set a high level and you really feel you are treated as a proper guest and that makes you feel at a friend's home. An excellent experience. Thanks

Es una casa preciosa. Cómoda. Bien situada. Impecable y divinamente montada!!!

Nos ha gustado muchísimo la casa!!! Muy recomendable, para dos personas es ideal. Al tener un solo dormitorio ( esplendido y comodísimo) si fueran 4 personas , dos tendrían que dormir en el salon en un sofá cama. A nosotros nos ha encantado y está divinamente situada. El dueño es encantador!!!

The flat is beautiful, well equipped and very comfortable. Extremely clean. Great location which is within an easy walk of the station, Princes Street and Holyrood Palace. The local neighbourhood is lovely (Georgian New Town) and quiet. Would happily stay here again.

Perfect Stay in Edinburgh

We had a wonderful stay at this flat in Edinburgh! The location was absolutely perfect, within walking distance to many sights, restaurants, and shops. The flat itself was well-appointed with all the amenities we needed for a very comfortable stay. Everything was clean, cozy, and just as described. It truly felt like a home away from home. We would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Edinburgh and would love to stay here again in the future!

Quality Edinburgh flat

Quality fittings make this flat a pleasure to stay in. From the Denby pottery to the beautiful prints and comfy bed, it has everything you need to make the stay enjoyable and with the added benefit of views to Arthur’s Seat. Mark was a pleasure to deal with and I would highly recommend staying here. **Note: there is NO on-street parking during the day in Edinburgh without a permit, unless you want to move the car every 4 hours (except on weekends when parking is not metered). Given that the flat is 30-40 minutes walk into the Old Town, moving the car is not really feasible. The only option is a multi-level at £26 per day.

Elegant, Comfortable & Convenient

Marks apartment is one of the nicest we have stayed in for a number of reasons. It was not furnished cheaply or with castoff furniture, dishes, art. It felt like you moved into someone actual home. The apartment was spacious, well stocked & everything worked well. We wanted for nothing. A shout out about the foam pillows as they were the best of our travels though Mark had another option as well. The location is close to food, wine & beer shops as well as bakeries. You do have to carry your luggage up 3 flights of stairs. If you don’t mind walking Old town is a 20 minute walk away & New Town is even closer. Our son & family lived 2 minutes away which was very handy for the late walks home. We hope to rent here again when we return to Edinburgh & recommend you rent it as well.

Edinburgh Gem on Carlton Hill

Energetic flight up to a marvelous well kept apartment. Nearby supermarkets and great Italian Takeaway. Ubers easily available. Host was terrific in Every way.

This place is beautiful and prefect location

This was my husband and I first trip to Scotland and we could not be happier with this place. Perfectly located, so many places that are just a short walk away. The apartment has a great kitchen, beautifully furnished and amazing views. When we return we will definitely be staying again. Thank you!!

Stunning location. Wonderful property

The apartment is fantastic. The photos really don’t do it justice. The rooms are large, beautifully furnished with gorgeous period features. It is superbly well equipped and extremely comfortable. Edinburgh is a stunning city but it will require summoning all your resolve and determination to leave the apartment each day. The location is also excellent - equidistant (about 5 mins walk) from the start of Princes Street and the Royal Mile. We loved our stay and Mark was a superb host responding to queries really quickly. We cannot wait to return!

Edinburgh -a favourite destination

Perfect town accomodation - quiet ,comfortable and cosy. If I had to find any ‘fault’ it would be that the stairs were a fair hike for an older individual. But don’t be put off , it’s a gem.
