"Conveniently located just outside Lübeck's north city portal, Burgtor. It's just a few minutes walk into the altstadt with churches, squares, passageways, courtyards, and a variety of beautiful gabled buildings. Loved the breakfast at the hotel and the rainwater shower head. There are a limited number of free outdoor parking spaces which I luckily obtained. Lübeck is wonderful."

"We booked this hotel en route to Denmark. We were travelling with our three year old child also. The hotel was relatively easy to find, with plenty parking. We phoned ahead as we're running late - which turned out to be a wise thing as reception closes at 8pm. When we arrived, we found the staff to be friendly, they spoke English (which saved us from using our pigeon German and/or bad sign language) and we were given directions to our room which was in one of the annex buildings. "COVID-19 times, so things were not as expected. Honestly the hotel was not up to par during these difficult times and it was noticeable. All around the mood of some few unhappy guests affected the staff and the other guests. Things did not run smoothly nor was the hotel organized enough to enforce the rules all around. It was quite a disappointing stay for the money paid. At least the sea view in the room was nice."
