We brought our dog and asked for an early check in. The staff was very responsive and got us in the room 3 hours before check in. The room was very clean and we loved the back patio with a small patch of grass for our dog! The Hunters Chop House is in walking distance and was a great dinner! We will be staying at this facility for years to come.

The staff was really welcoming and friendly throughout my stay. The property was well-maintained and full of elk! Nice continental breakfast selection & clean room. The walls are a little thin between units, but luckily I had good, quiet "neighbors" each night.

The hotel room was super clean. The staff, super nice as well. It's an older hotel, but VERY WELL maintained. Really nice to get water and ice for your water bottle at breakfast.

We stayed at Murphy’s Resort with our 4 and 6 year old and had a great time. It’s an older resort that’s been updated, and it’s the perfect hub for a few days in Estes/RMNP. We felt very safe and our girls loved swimming in the pool (it was warm!) and playing on the playground. The best part was seeing all the elk that come through the property! The closest we’ve ever been to them! The front desk staff was really nice. We will definitely stay again!

We had a great stay at Murphy’s Resort! The location is fantastic—convenient to both downtown Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park, making it an easy and practical home base for exploring the area. Our room was very clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed to recharge after being out all day. The staff were friendly and welcoming from the moment we checked in. We also really appreciated all the extra on-site touches and outdoor amenities—it's a fun, relaxing property with a laid-back vibe and plenty to do. It struck the perfect balance between comfort, convenience, and value. Would definitely recommend Murphy’s Resort to anyone visiting Estes Park, and we'd be happy to stay here again!

The breakfast was a bit lean but we supplemented with things we needed as adult seniors. The room was huge, very comfortable beds, very clean and the staff went above and beyond. A bar height table with seating for 4. This honestly is one of the first hotels I felt comfortable walking around the room with bare feet... It was that clean. We loved the free movies and popcorn and all the amazing elk that came to visit.

We happened to visit during the elk rutting. Quite a spectacle right on the grounds, in the play ground! 18 or more. The front desk was always polite and helpful. The breakfast attendant was nice and friendly.

The room was spacious and clean. Had a guide for tv stations and a huge selection of channels. Had a DVD player and a huge selection of DVD's in the office. There were 17 elk in the grassy area in the center of the complex. The male kept buggling so all of us had a front row seat. I would highly recommend it to everyone.

The room was clean. The staff was very helpful. However the property needs a face lift. The furnishings were old and very used. Felt like I was visiting a property that was overused and was probably furnished in the 1960s or 1970s. Not very appealing.

Love the layout of the property. You can drive up to your room and be steps away from your car to your door. They have great amenities and the staff is very friendly. Will stay here again when I come back to Estes Park.

The room was nice and cozy. The staff was accommodating. We really just spent the night and moved along early the next day so we didn't have their breakfast or use the pool. Maybe next time! The property was a bit older, but in good condition. Great central location. Recommend!

The staff was very nice and helpful. The pool and hot tub was nice! The AC worked but it was in front if the curtains so you had to sleep with curtains open to use AC unit. One thing that could be improved is to paint the room number on the parking curb in front of your assigned room to keep other guest from parking where ever they want.

So, you get what you pay for. Dont get your hopes up about the breakfast. You get clean rooms, nice stuff and good pool. If you want fancier hotel then get ready to pay x2. I think it is the best price / quality ratio.
