Check in was a mess. The main entrance is being remodeled. We jad to go in the side door. The side doors were unlocked. We stayed in the aisle of the unlocked entrance and didnt really feel as safe as we.should have felt.
We booked 2 rooms from through Expedia. The desk said only one came through. I showed my receipt. He had to dig a bit and found our we did have two rooms. He put a note for the next oerson not to try andncharge for the room. I had to call the next day and have the charge taken off.
Out of all the rooms in the hotel, two doors down from the unlocked entrance should not have been our room. Thw night chek in was very polite and helpful, as the morning shift. However, having to call about an incorrect charge is not cool. The woman i spoke with was kind and took action immediately, asking for a call back if she had a problem with the charge. It was removed by next business day. So, service overall was very good, minus my charge.
This is our favorite place to stay in Fairmont. Please keep it that way! Rooms were very nice: clean and comfortable.
