“The cabin was in a very nice rural location with trees surrounding the property. We loved the way the cabin was decorated and furnished, everything was very comfortable. On the second night of our stay we got an amazing view of the Northern Lights while we relaxed in the hot tub. There are many things to do within an hour of the property so whether you choose relaxing days at the property or exploring the nearby area it's a great location. ”

“We’ve stayed at this property multiple times and throughly enjoyed our stay. WiFi was added since our last stay and it was a wonderful upgrade for us to bring our Roku. As others have mentioned there are multiple trains daily which we knew about. There is one around 7-7:20am which you should be aware of. This stay the sheets were a little more worn and there was more pet hair but the master bed was very comfortable. We would recommend staying here and probably will again. ”

“Black bear lodge was the perfect home away from home for our family of 5 (kiddos age range 6 years to 9 months). Check in couldn't have been easier, even for a first time vrbo guest! Communication with Cory was quick and helpful. We appreciated the extra amenities such as coffee and coffee filters, shampoo and conditoner, condiments and butter, paper towels, dish soap and sponge. My favorite part was the view, without a doubt, I could have sat on the deck our whole visit. ”

“Very quiet peaceful cabin. Nice porch to sit on and do nothing. You can hear traffic on the road. One evening there were 2 vehicles that went by. ”
