“My wife and I wanted a quiet place in the woods all to ourselves, and Moon Shadow Lodge was ideal. The lodge made us feel like we were in a treehouse in the forest canopy, and we enjoyed sitting on the deck watching all the birds and looking out over the lake. We also enjoyed hiking on the nearby Turtle Trail where we saw some turtles. We kayaked on the lake, went swimming, took naps in our hammock, watched movies on the big couch in the living room, played pool in the downstairs game room, and...

“Ad should show only the unit that is to be rented, this ad showed another unit making it seem like that was one we were getting. Ended up not sleeping in it as no bathroom and leaving after seeing what it truly was. ”

“Delightful place to watch the 2024 total eclipse from. We stood by the narrows and enjoyed a cloudless sky to view the eclipse. Joy was responsive and took great care of us upon arrival. We'd come back again, for sure!”

“We love staying here. There are a couple of cosmetic issues--faucet that needs washer replaced, closet door-- but nothing that really detracted from our stay. It was warm, cozy, and a great fit for our family gathering.”
