“Cute a-frame with lake view; clean but smallish. Beds were comfortable but no door on one bedroom so not very private. Kitchen is small - no dishwasher; no bakeware other than cookie sheets, no storage bowls, etc so plan to bring your own or purchase locally like we did. We liked the property but would probably try another location if we return.”

“The Oak Cottage was exactly as described and had everything we needed. The location is quiet and tranquil with the Creek just down the hill. We arrived very late but the owner was a gem and brought us a lantern to combat the power outage caused by tornados in the area. 10/10 will stay again.”

“I was in town to run the Savage Marathon. The race start/finish was only 10 minutes down the road. This cabin was the perfect place for me. It was a great size, quiet, private, and had everything I needed to cook a few meals and clean up after the race. Stopped by the Greeter Grill after the race and had a great burger and fries. I love camping at Savage Gulf Preserve but this is a perfect option when I’m not feeling up to camping.”
