“Clean, comfortable, excellent host.”

“We were very happy with this rental. It was roomy, decorated nicely and clean. It was supplied well with coffee makers, pots and pans, etc which made our stay very comfortable. The manager responded quickly when we had a question. The location was perfect, great little cafe across the street, a wonderful bakery just a few feet from our building's entrance, and a variety of other businesses close by. We heartily recommend this rental.”

“Flew in from Cincinnati for a class. Instructions for checking in were spot on. Location was fun. It's right in the center of everything. Has everything we needed after outdoor wilderness classes or a night out at any of the local pubs and restaurants; laundry, fridge with ice and water on the door, comfy furniture, and wonderful shower. Will keep this on top of my list if I'm ever back in Bangor.”

When we arrived we were greeted by Ann a team member who was very gracious and just a nice person. She gave us helpful hints of all the local sights we should see on our visit. “This property is a nice, peaceful walk to downtown. The apartment had everything we needed and was in great condition. It was not a problem for us, but be aware you need to be able to walk up spiral stairs to get to the bathroom and bedrooms.”

“The inside of the apartment was clean and there were plenty of blankets and toiletries. The outside looks like it used to be a Chinese restaurant. Everything was adequate except for the water pressure in the shower. Pressure was very low.”

“My main reason for picking this property was its closeness to the airport, however, it turned out to be a little too far from Acadia national park. It was new and clean, however, people walking upstairs, transmitted noise significantly through the ceiling. And although I did not contact the manager for help, the thermostat did not work.”

“Down East day trip locale perfected! Bring your whole family and rent all three suites. The hosts have accomplished absolute magic in their herculean efforts to make this building a draw for the town. They succeeded wildly, with only a few new-lodging quirks to work out. The design is just enough, with subtle details somehow receding into the character of the moment rather than feeling obvious and cliché. We have been waiting for years to see what might be accomplished here, with not high hopes....

We mostly used the home as our home base but would love to come back and spend time relaxing on the lake. The house was clean, comfortable, and well kept. “So, what can I say that hasn’t already been highlighted. The property itself is your a typical Maine lake house. It is close to a few amenities like Hannifords and a few restaurants but not too far from Bangor. The interior is completely updated and is stocked as you would expect with top quality rentals. Views are top notch. And Ben our host is and was extremely responsive. This is definitely a place I would recommend If you’re on the hunt for something off the regular market. A+ listing as...
