The hotel and staff were excellent. Major plus is this hotel is only 4 years old and has A/C in its rooms. It is a little bit of a walk to the old city of Heidelberg a little over a mile but if you walk along the river it is nice. Their is not parking so you will need to park in the parking garage which is about a 10 minute walk. Overall this hotel was a very nice stay.

Clean and modern rooms, very friendly staff, good breakfast. The location is golden with several bars and restaurants nearby, a short walk to Philosopher's Walk and across the bridge to the Old Town. Saturday market right in front of the door.

Great recently-renovated small hotel
Quiet, clean and comfortable, in a very nice old part of town across the river from the university. I am told there is a market on Saturday and Wednesday in the square that the rooms face, so I would expect some early morning noise as that gets set up. Breakfast was excellent, and less than €10.

The hotel was lovely. Our room had a gorgeous view over a lovely open platz (though the bar was a little lively late into a Wednesday night with windows open). The rooms were extremely comfortable, the morning buffet was lovely, and the staff were warm and attentive. The location was easily walkable to old town and the castle for those who don't have issues walking on tour. We also enjoyed a drink in the platz outside the restaurant while there. It's an affordable, lovely place to stay. Thank you Rafaela!

The location is close to the old part of town. Easy transportation access. The nicest part is the staff is very helpful, pleasant and I would definitely stay there again.

New modern hotel, friendly staff. Situated in old town in residential area, walking distance to Neckar river and shopping area. Hard to find parking around the hotel. No restaurant within the hotel, only breakfast however delicious. Will definitely revisit.

Very disappointing stay due to unprofessional staff. We facilitated the hotel in doing maintenance work by moving room but were hunted out of it and got aggressive attitude when we expressed our dissatisfaction at poor communication by them.No apology , instead 3 out of date vouchers for drinks . This hotel does not seem to be staffed by anyone with hospitality training.

This is a newly built small hotel near a marketplatz in Heidelberg. It is family owned and operated, not part of a big chain. Our stay in July 2019 was really wonderful. The room was clean, well furnished, and was perfect for our family. It had a clever patio door that could be either a door or window. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. The breakfast they serve is great, it had cereal, muesli, fresh fruit, yogurt, an array of meats and cheese and condiments, always a fresh coffee cake, and hot eggs or something similar. Also a great espresso or tea machine. (Note that there is a charge for breakfast, which is worth it because it’s so extensive.) There are several restaurants and cafes nearby, and it’s a block from a main tram line, so it’s easy to get around the city without a car. We went to the castle and other tourist spots easily. An added bonus is that there is a farmers market in the marketplatz Wednesday and Saturday, with all sorts of fruit, cheeses, breads, or sausages you can buy. And a small frig in your room to hold what you buy. The owner is so friendly and helpful, and was extra accommodating meeting some of our specific needs. I highly recommend this hotel.

This is a small owner operated hotel that has been in operation since November 2018. Overall it's well run and well situated (a bid off the tourist track across the river from Old Town Heidelberg but still walking distance). I would have given a higher rating if not for three issues: the rooms were very small (for example, there was no space to put an open suitcase and no armchair); the mattress was way too soft for me; the AC worked only if the room key was plugged in, implying that my room was rather hot after returning from may days out.

Modernes Hotel in toller Umgebung
Das Hotel ist sehr zentral im schönen Neuenheim am Marktplatz gelegen. Man ist in wenigen Minuten auf dem Philosophenweg, an der Neckarwiese und im Zentrum. Viele Restaurants und besondere kleine Läden sind in der näheren Umgebung. Der Check-In war unkompliziert und professionell. Das Familienzimmer liegt nach hinten und ist sehr ruhig, vom Markttreiben bekommt man nichts mit. Alles war sehr sauber, der Service tadellos, die Einrichtung modern und noch sehr neu. Einziger Minuspunkt: das Ausklappbett für unseren 14-Jährigen war leider sehr unbequem. Da gibt es sicher bessere Lösungen.

Ich bin glücklick und sehr zufrieden dass ich in diesem Hotel übernachten .. Die Atmosphären und im alllgemeinen Personalien sehr freundlich und Räumlichkeit sind sauber gepflegt nebst die Frühstücken waren super organisieren..Ruhige Lage.Zone .Ich gäbe 4 Sternen bewertet. Aber das Bett hat mir etwas gefühl dass ich fast beinahe runter gerutsch vom shieflage.

Unsere Familienzimmer sind bewusst im Terrassengeschoss und berücksichtigen die Bedürfnisse von Familien mit kleinen Kindern. Denn alle unsere Doppelzimmer verfügen über eine Sitzbank im Fenster.
