“My wife, son & I decided to have a spontaneous night away (21-6-25) and after reading a few reviews and using google for location we decided to book with the Stamford Gate Hotel. On arrival the staff were extremely helpful and answered our questions. The room was good and I was even surprised to see trouser pressers in the room. “My daughter and I stayed in the Orme lodge, it was lovely. Nice and warm, squirrels outside the windows. Hot tub is just a hot tub - not one with bubbles! so don't look for a button to press lol Very peaceful. If you go with kids (i went with teenager) then maybe take a laptop to watch netflix etc on. wifi connection great. Don't wear sliders on your feet when trying to do the fire or else you will slip on the mud which is hilarious to a teenager btw. Hot tub takes about 4 hours to...
