“The room, although small, was beautifully clean. Tea coffee etc was topped up every day. The little fridge had fresh milk every day. Roxana was an amazing host who welcomed you with friendliness and good advice. Breakfast was simple but well cooked and cooked just for you. There was a lovely little garden overlooking the river which enabled you to enjoy the calmness of nature. “Another wonderful stay at Stow House - a beautiful boutique hotel in the Yorkshire Dales. We stay in the Cowboy room - wonderful room with roll top bath and heaps of space, with fantastic views over the Dales! We keep returning due to the great hospitality… this will be our 4th stay and we will be back! Breakfast delicious. Decor is cool & stylish. Artwork on the walls. Lots of books. Honesty bar & cocktail hour with homemade cocktails from the Savoy cocktail book, kindly served in the bar……

“A lovely house with welcoming, friendly and helpful hosts. Very comfortable room with well-equipped “private bathroom” nearby (a very minor whinge is that en suite would have been nice). Great individually tailored breakfasts to set us up for the day. Location is in easy walking distance from the town and several good walks. Free parking right outside. 10/10”
