“Tanya and Michael are very friendly and accommodating. My flight didn’t arrive until 11:30pm. When I arrived at Tanya’s house, it was already midnight. Tanya waited to open the door for me. It is only five-minutes walk to the closest shopping mall. There are restaurants, bakery, and supermarket in the mall. The bus stop is in front of their house. You can take the bus by using a credit card to the train station. Then you can take the train go to the airport. It is very convenient. ”

“The owner of this hotel is very enthusiastic. When he heard that I was in Vancouver for the first time and brought three luggage and a schoolbag to the airport in the evening, when I had some difficulties, he drove to the airport to pick me up in the rain. The next day breakfast at that time, the boss personally went to the kitchen to make delicious meals for the tenants, which moved me. “Beautiful view of Silva Bay. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious -- particularly enjoyed the Nespresso coffee, homemade granola and blueberry muffins, along with the yogurts and other breakfast items. When a power failure knocked out power to half the island, Dave and Melanie set up lights, fired up their generator in the morning, and kept us informed throughout the outage. We would definitely stay here again! ”

“Recycling and garbage as you walk to the entrance and you walk by looking into the owners kitchen. The main area is also used as a staff room? There is a sign on the fridge that says staff use only and clearly has staff’s food in it. You only actually get a bedroom with a lock on it and a bathroom with cleaning supplies mops etc on the wall. I absolutely did not feel safe especially when I came back and someone had been in the suite. This is not as advertised at all. ”

“Great harbourside location just a 5 min drive across the bridge will get you to downtown Victoria. Lovely to be able to walk along the harbour. Brewpub is a casual atmosphere for dining and a drink with a view. Our room was comfortable with a separate toilet room from the tub/shower room, both with their own sinks which was convenient. The heritage guest house has character and is showing its age but our room was clean. No in-room fridge and some light bulbs needed replacing (front building door……

Highly recommended — relaxing and spacious stay

"We had a wonderful and relaxing stay at Steveston Waterfront. It’s in a lovely location, within a quiet neighbourhood, right next to the river and a short walk to Fisherman’s Wharf. We stayed in their 1-bed suite, which was very spacious with a large bed (felt like bigger than a King). The room was clean and very well kept, and had everything from cooking utensils to kitchen wipes. Check-in was digital, but we found it much more convenient and flexible than the tradition reception desk. The team was very responsive over email — replying to our questions within 15-20 mins. We’d definitely stay again the next time we’re in Vancouver. Highly recommended, and also for the amount of space you get with the price you pay. "
