No Wake Zone

NO LINENS, PILLOWS, OR TOWELS PROVIDED, YOU WILL NEED TO BRING YOUR OWN.
The NO Wake Mini Beach Cottage is located on 15 to 20 Acre Lake. We have seven unique cottages on one peninsula. You have your own fire pit area to set and relax and cookout. We designed the cottages to let you disconnect from the hustle and bustle of the city. You will feel like you’re camping without all the hardships of camping. You can kayak or paddle on the lake.
You get the use of two kayaks with the rental of your cottage. We also have Jon boats and paddle boards available for rent, depending on availability. Firewood is available on site $6.00 bundle kilm dried state certified. NO OUTSIDE FIREWOOD ALLOWED PLEASE unless wrapped and state certified. SWIMMING IS ALLOWED YOU SWIM AT YOUR OWN RISK NO LIFE GUARD ON DUTY. ALL GUEST MUST SIGN A WAIVER BEFORE GOING ON OR IN THE WATER.

Great Weekend Getaway
Spent labor day weekend relaxing on the lake. The set up was perfect for 2 families renting both cabins. The cabins were clean and had everything we needed. Our group enjoyed fishing, kayaking and swimming.

Relaxing weekend getaway at the lake
Perfect weekend getaway at the lake for my family (2 adults, 2 kids aged 9 years old). Spent 3 nights at the "No Wake Zone" cabin. Cabin was clean, exactly as described, and beds were super comfy! We made all of our meals right at the cabin using the microwave, the firepit, or blackstone grill. We swam, kayaked, paddleboarded, fished and caught mostly bass and bluegill, and kids played in the sand building sandcastles. Played games at "The Boat House" table and kids enjoyed swinging! We even drove into Jasonville one evening and visited the local ice cream shoppe! We had perfect weather, but just in case you get rainy days, suggest packing a book (and there is a TV in the cabin). We will be back--loved it!!

Fantastic!

Ultimate relaxation and fun
This was our second time visiting the property and I cannot say enough about the experience both times. The owners are fabulous, attentive, communicative and so helpful. They have beautifully built a little piece of heaven. We travel from the Chicago suburbs, stop in Terra Haute to grab groceries, and then plop ourselves there to relax, play games, and float. The cottages are perfectly appointed, and the grounds are clean and spacious. We will be back!

This property is an excellent cabin on a pennisula of a lake. There are fish to catch, ducks to watch, kayaks to paddle and plenty of quiet to read all those novels you have been putting off. This was the best getaway! We hadn't traveled in over a year due to the pandemic. To find this secluded and safe option for 2 moms and their teen daughters to stay together was fantastic. We each had our own tiny cottage and the outdoors was our shared living space. The property is so well cared for and the cottages and property have every detail covered. Each cottage has a separate outdoor cooking space if you are only renting 1 cottage. I suggest making sure your queen size sheets have deep pockets to fit the fantastic mattress! We purchased firewood from the owners - loved having it ready for us when we arrived. Firestarters were provided, too. The coffee maker is a Keurig with a refillable pod. Everything you need is in the kitchenette - utensils, dishes, cooking pans, and more. The outdoor cooking space has a fire pit with grill and a separate gas griddle. Between the outdoor cooking and using the microwave, we ate so well! The shared Boat House was a great space, too. A boat with a solid table top was where our girls enjoyed puzzles and the swings as seats around the table were fun. The main draw to this location is the property itself. We loved kayaking on the lake - went out several times each day. Sunsets are gorgeous! So much wildlife to observe! We also enjoyed sitting on the dock and watching the fish, reading, soaking up the sun. We loved the property so much that we never even made it over to the state park - the privacy and beauty we had here was everything we wanted! The owners live on property and are in eyesight - which we appreciated from a safety aspect. This is definitely a spot that will need to be visited again!
