“My first VRBO experience was absolutely incredible. We tried to visit here last fall to see the leaves & colors, were unable to get the dates right. This visit was to visit a couple of State Parks in the area--actually visited 4 in 2 days. GMH's 'home' was just as advertised PLUS! It was better then the pictures and descriptions in every respect. One mission was to meet the 'Inkeeper' and we did just that! Speechless is the best way to describe the entire experience. WE WILL RETURN this fall!”

“We needed a rental to accommodate our off-road race team for an event, and the setup was perfect for what the guys needed. They were able to spread out, cook meals and relax between race days. The house was comfortable, very clean, and we wouldn't hesitate to stay again when back in the area. Highly recommend!”

The bed is comfortable and the sheets are soft. We love the fire pit at the river, you can sit and relax. This is our favorite place to stay now.”

“Just me and my dog on this trip and I was blown away by the beauty of this property. The only picture to do it justice is the one in my mind. My girl got to run free and we played in the river hours on end. Enjoyed walking the property and simply unplug for two of the most fun filled relaxing days Ive had in a very long time. The cottage is a total vibe with eclectic vintage furniture and homey feel! I hope to visit again!”

Plenty of seasonings which is a rare find with rentals! We enjoyed the porch and firepit. Would definitely rent again when we go back!”

“While there are other houses visible, this property was extremely quiet and relaxing. Great location, "civilization" easily accessible...just a short drive. Hope to stay again when we're more physically mobile (one broken back and one broken leg... hopefully we'll be fully recovered soon). Plenty of historic sites nearby.”

“The hosts were so kind and accommodating when we needed to come to the area to manage my mother's estate. The adorable bungalow was comfortable and well stocked and we were so grateful to them for going the extra mile to get the fold out bed ready for our daughter when they new we were going to have a very late night check in. We extend our thanks for their compassion and flexibility to accommodate us so last minute. We will gladly return to their home when duty calls again.”
