Rustic Cedar Cabin

Cozy Cedar cabin in the woods. Large front relaxing porch, warm wood cathedral ceilings with a loft. Rustic décor. One Queen and one full size bed. We provide linens and towels. Full working kitchen, gas grill. Internet, enclosed parking. 3.5 miles from the I-77 and 2.5 miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway. 20 mins from the Blue Ridge Music center. Close to Crooked Creek wildlife management area, Hillsville, Galax and Mount Airy.

Our stay was wonderful the special touches were amazing. The cabin was very clean and comfortable we were able to relax whether we were inside, on the front porch or sitting around the fire pit. Our stay unexpectedly had to be extended by one day and Michelle was so wonderful and was able to accommodate us. We would absolutely recommend staying at this cabin. The cabin is very clean and cozy. Great little porch to have evening wine or morning coffee on. Nice little fire pit to relax around in the evening. The cabin is fully stocked and the owner Michelle lives right nearby and made sure we had everything we needed. She even came down and set up the logs in the fire pit. Highly recommend this charming cabin. Fancy Gap has no real grocery store but there is a Food Lion about 11 miles away that has everything.

This was the perfect place for a weekend getaway. The cabin was clean and so cozy. The owner communicated with us everything we needed to know. The place was well stocked with anything we needed. We would definitely stay here again!

The cabin was amazing. Very well equipped and plentiful amenities. We really enjoyed our stay and will be booking again. This Rustic Cedar Cabin is better than advertised.

Perfect Cabin Stay

First of all, booking the cabin was easy, and all the communication was clear and accurate. When my husband and I arrived at the cabin, we were beyond pleased. The setting is truly peaceful. The cabin itself is cozy since the furnishings are comfortable. The cabin will definitely be a place that my husband and I would like to stay at again when we travel South.

Beautiful, cozy, and serene cabin

My brother and I needed a place to stay in the area while we rode our motorcycles all around the beautiful, scenic roads of VA, NC and TN. This cabin is wonderfully furnished and comfortable. The covered parking was perfect for our bikes, and the front porch and fire pit area are great for relaxing in the evenings. Thank you Michelle for being such an excellent host!

Great Location

We had a delightful 3 night get-away to the mountains from Charlotte. The setting is very nice and close to the Blue Ridge Parkway and the sweet town of Galax. Cows grazing and birds singing…beautiful sites and sounds of nature.

Hidden gem

The Rustic Cabin is an awesome place. It felt like home with just two steps on the big, comfortable front porch, and inside... well the inside is perfection for a log cabin. Well appointed but not over done. The colors, furniture, decorations... everything said, "come in, relax, stay a while." Only wish I could have stayed longer!
