It had the feel of home: well appointed, warm and inviting. We were greeted every morning by a hummingbird, as we enjoyed coffee on the large front porch and in the late afternoon saw deer in the yard. Its proximity to the Blue Ridge Music offered opportunity to hear local artists perform traditional bluegrass and country music. Our time in the Rustic Cabin was one of the most relaxing and peaceful weeks we have enjoyed in years. Beautiful would be an understatement! We rented for our visit to the Galax Fiddlers Convention, but would be a great cabin in the woods to just get away for a few days. Surrounded by trees, very serene. Decorative Pond and firepit area was awesome. Loved the location for motorcycle rides had an area to place bikes out of rain. There was a great fire pit.
