“I spent a week at Jan Kok while on a birding holiday. The property is safe, quiet, and perfect for those looking for privacy and seclusion. This is a great choice for birders, as the property has lots of plants and resident birds, and it's only a 10-minute walk to the nearby salina, where flamingos and other waterbirds abound. A car is absolutely necessary, but there's a grocery store and restaurants within a 10-minute drive. The lodges are very clean and stocked with all the basic kitchen……

“ Condo was very clean and stocked with towels, beach floats, pool noodles, beach chairs and coolers to use while out for the day. Location was very safe. Pool and beach were not crowded and we were able to find lounge chairs without a problem. Private laundry in unit was nice as well! ”

“The apartment is very basic,but I dont think its fair to expect something more for the price we paid.The air conditioner is working well,there is no hot water in the shower ,but water is warm enough to take a shower, the fridge is working well too.The apartment is big enough, the place is quiet and safe. It is a lot to see in the island ,so if you are on a budget, better to spend extra money on a car rental and drive around. We met one german man,who was renting the other apartment from the same……

“Es ist eine tolle Unterkunft in unschlagbarer Location - direkt im Zentrum, wo Du die Stadt erkunden kannst. Besser geht es nicht. Die Unterkunft ist toll eingerichtet und man hat alles, was man braucht. Willemstad ist eine wunderschöne Stadt und die Location der Wohnung war das Highlight für uns. Wir kommen gerne wieder.”

“Un lugar increíble, el apartamento tiene todo lo que puedes necesitar para una estadía cómoda y placentera. Estuvimos en pareja en un apartamento con vista al jardín en primer piso. Tiene una sala cocina espectacular con todo los utensilios sumamente completa. Una terraza súper cómoda. Lavadora y secadora y dos habitaciones. Solo usamos una pero increíblemente cómoda con baño incluido. Afuera una piscina con vista al mar linda, limpia y privada. Tienen una oficina en el aeropuerto donde te dan……

“We absolutely loved our stay here. It was clean, modern and had everything we needed for our 2 week stay. The hosts Rainton and Sue are very welcoming and made our stay that much better and made us feel like we were at home. They answered all questions very quickly and told us some great spots to eat. We look forward to visiting again and would stay there again if we can :) This apartment is close to the best beaches and a grocery store. (It also has a washing machine). 10/10 stay!! ”

“Schitterend uitzicht over de oceaan, heerlijk terras, en veel ruimte. Accommodatie ligt wel afgelegen (kan een plus of een min zijn), geen restaurantjes etc. in de buurt, maar wel eigen kookgelegenheid. Ook navigatie is nodig, want de wegen zijn daar een beetje doolhof, en niet altijd even goed aangegeven. Goede communicatie nodig met beheerder (die is niet altijd thuis), zo mogelijk direct.”

“The loft is perfectly situated to enjoy Punda and the Otrobanda. It is walking distance to shops, restaurants and a small beach. Taxis are readily available after a 5 minute walk. Parking is convenient. The flat itself is perfect for two.”
