Family Fun!

Our family had the best time! The location could not have been better! Close to bike trails, beach access, short ride to Sanctuary, etc. We will be back!!

Fantastic Location!

This home is perfect for a nice weekend getaway! Steps away from the beach in a quiet area. If you want coffee be sure to bring it with you!

Quick stay in Kiawah

Condo was centrally located, clean, and equipped with what we needed. Also, comfy sofa and throws in the closet to snuggle up in while watching tv. Unless we just didn’t locate the switch, would suggest lights coming up the outside stairs. Little tricky to navigate after dark.

I loved the way the condo was “up in the trees”. It is three flights of steps up, and lovely! The furnishes are pretty. I like the screened in porch and the deck. Everything was great!

Great place

Comfortable and well stock kitchen. We have stayed in many places and this might have been one of the best stocked kitchens. Pots and pans in good condition. Everything needed to make a full home cooked meal. Bedrooms were big with very comfortable beds. Living space accommodating for 4 people without problems. Loved the screened in porch in the middle of the trees - so relaxing and a really short walk to the beach!! Would definitely stay here again!! Just wish check out time was 11 really hard to get teens moving and out by 10am.

Beautifully natural and peaceful-

The overall impression of the property was good. The property had been cleaned but I think the inspector didn't make it there. There was a remote laying on the bed with no batteries and there was clean dishes in the dishwasher and a dirty pizza pan and cutter in the over. Everything was on point and we really enjoyed our time there.

Great condo

We have stayed here before - under a previous property manager. Great location with easy access to the beach. We appreciate the ability to bring our dog with us. We will rent here again. Our only suggestion to new property management company is to check supplies to make sure everything is there - we got 1/2 a roll of paper towels with no back up. Not the end of the world but just a detail that should be taken care of. Also some of the glasses in the cupboard need to be run through the dishwasher. Thanks for letting us stay - we will be back!

Kiawah Remote Work /Vacation

We were impressed that the unit had been further updated since the photos had been taken, delivered very clean and management was super helpful and responsive when we had a few glitches(lock pad on door stopped working one night when we returned from dinner). We brought a lot of our own kitchen supplies and gadgets as we were there for a month and a half. Very quiet unit especially in January. Wi-Fi was good and strong and we both had spaces to work.Easy stroll to wonderful beach..great birding right from the unit. Overall great unit and wonderful stay.

Perfect for young teens

Our 2 13 yos loved the freedom of bike riding. It didn’t hurt that we had a store/restaurant and a huge park close to the property. A measuring cup would have been nice but that’s my only suggestion. Also I did not get a response how to rent a grill from the Mgr co, but we took the George Foreman and that worked for hamburgers and quesadillas. Highly recommended for small families. Plenty of room to spread out on the screened porch and living room. The kids gave it 10/10 and we adults did too!

Beach Walk Away

Rating Details: The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Condo had spider webs in every corner of porch area. It also had dead bugs in the high corners of the I it's living room. I killed 4 roaches while there Disappointed with Beachwalkers, we tried to reach them several times over Lanor day Sunday and Monday and no response back. Bad news We won't be coming back through Beaxhwalkers

Great location but some issues

Loved the location and access to beach/park. Description should list beds are 2 Full beds. Both are squeaky, super soft, and in need of an upgrade. Even though it is pet friendly there were some cleanliness issues with black pet hair covering the white sheets on beds, hair on shower curtain, couch, and outdoor furniture. Loved the layout of the space and would have spent more time on the deck/porch but it hasn’t been taken care of and was covered with dirt/pollen/leaves so that it was difficult to sit on furniture. After we cleaned up the worst parts, we enjoyed our stay and would consider staying in the area again but would need to make sure the house is cleaned well before booking this property.

Great location - could use some updates

This property is in a great location - just a 5 minute walk to the beach. Pros: proximity to the beach and front gate of Kiawah Island. We did not have any issues with bugs as mentioned in other reviews. Property was very clean inside and WiFi worked well for our whole stay. Beach access is easy and the beach is gorgeous and uncrowded. Beach access had a shower to rinse after time at the beach. Condo is a great size for family of four. Cons: the dryer did not work so we were unable to dry our towels during the weekend and hanging them outside is not allowed. Cable also did not work. We were able to connect the DVD player to a different cord and it did finally work so we rented movies. The freezer door cannot open all the way because of the placement of the fridge and laundry closet so it was difficult to get things in and out. Water pressure in shower isn’t great. Overall good value for the money on Kiawah. We were able to bring our dog and the proximity to the beach was great. Condo could use upgrades, but it was comfortable and worked for a weekend away.

Enjoyed Our Near Thanksgiving Stay

The view of the park and adjacent woods was nice. We did not encounter any of the pest problems some other reviews mentioned except for one stink bug that made his way in (we got him out.) The kitchen has pretty much everything you need for cooking meals (not food, obviously, nor salt, pepper, etc...) and a dishwasher for when you've gone through everything. Other reviewers have suggested that the villa could a good coat of paint. I'll agree, though it didn't impact our ability to use the place. One thing I wasn't comfortable with was the no-password router. I would have preferred the added measure of security of having to use a password (so anyone walking by couldn't access the router.) For sensitive stuff, we just used our phones on 4G. The only other "problem" was that the mattresses were much softer than we're used to. That's not a complaint though, because everybody has different preferences for mattress firmness. In all, we found it to be a nice place with easy access to the beach and the "Kiawah Island Parkway" and nice views of the "human" wildlife playing in Night Heron Park.

Week at Parkside Villa

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit was laid out very well. Unit was conveniently located on the island. The amenities inside regarding fixtures were nicely done. I don't believe the property was inspected properly to meet my expected standards compared to other units I have stayed in since 1984. Beach Walker Rentals was responsive, but after our entering the unit. The slats under our master bed fell to the floor the first night. They were measured incorrectly and it was quite a surprise to have the bed move in the middle of the night. If the place had been inspected prior to our arrival and the bugs removed from the floor prior to our arrival, we would have had no issues. It was an immediate turn off to all of us.

Perfect getaway

Only an hour from home but felt like a world away. Easy walk to the Nest and Night Heron Park. Beach is a 10-15 minute walk depending on your route. The condo is lovely and very comfortable. Kitchen is well stocked. The porch was our most favorite part. The villa is like staying in a sophisticated tree house. Our pup really enjoyed his stay too and plenty of places to walk in the vicinity. Freshfield Village easily accessible for additional dining and shopping with dog friendly outdoor seating at all restaurants. Looking forward to our next stay!

Clean, close to the beach, 2nd level

Beds were comfortable, rooms spacious, updated kitchen. Couch very uncomfortable, no window treatments in family/living room. Feels exposed. No window treatments to block bright morning sun ☀️ in half moon bedroom windows. Hard to sleep in.
