"The front desk staff was great and showed patience with us as we toured Weimar. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delightful. No coffee service unless you get the full breakfast. Pricey but convenient. Hotel does having garage parking for daily fee but is convenient."

However, given the age and style of the building, it’s understandable and didn’t detract too much from the overall experience. The staff is friendly, though they speak only German, which might be a bit challenging for non-German speakers. "Genuinely exceeded my expectations. The architecture is open and airy, which gives a sense of being outside, the deco is minimalist and room spacious, clean and with quality toiletries. The food both for breakfast and dinner was excellent and made of wholesome ingredients however the real strength of the hotel in my view is their staff who seemed to understand my needs and nothing was ever too much. Especially the lady in the moonlight bar who is so welcoming and when you are a solo traveller on a business trip that can make the whole difference.! thank you Dorint "
