“Un poco viejo el lugar ”

“This is the largest, and probably best hotel right in Nevada City, on the main street. But it is far enough from any live music venues not to be bothered. A beautifully restored/refitted old brick nineteenth century hotel. I would definitely stay there again in Nevada City. That said, it does not have 21st-century innovations like TV or swimming pools! But if you want old-timey Gold Country charm, I recommend it. The hotel restaurant is good, too. And the staff was professional ”

“Our room was beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable. Property is very well kept. Delicious coffee and lite yummy breakfast. Location, location. Great shopping, food and spirits all in walking distance. Looking forward to visiting again soon. ”

“This is my favorite place to stay in Grass Valley. It's quiet, clean, updated, and comfortable. The staff is great, pool is great, and the breakfast/ evening snacks are outstanding!”

“I stayed in Daphne, a cute single room. Perfect for just me and one night. Very clean, plenty spacious. My only complaint was that it was very bright in the room all-night due to lights outside & curtains that werent black out. ”

“My fiancé and I took a last minute trip and this place was perfect. Freshly renovated, we booked the room with an open ceiling. I could tell it was newly remodeled just by looking and smelling. The nice young woman who I believe is the owner was very gracious and accommodating. It’s walking distance to old downtown which has plenty of restaurants. The parking lot can be a little tricky due to the design and space. I highly recommend this quaint inn and hope to make a return visit. ”
