Room is not big, but enough for two, continental breakfast wasn't as bad as some people had said. Heat was warm, hot water, and the receptionist was very friendly. One day, I left my pricy necklack in the room, had room service, when I came back, it was still there! Loved this hotel, would definitely recoomend and stay again. Vive les maux de tête et les courbatures dûs aux courants d’air de celle-ci, dirigée directement vers les lits, même si, grâce à ça, la température de la chambre est très agréable par rapport à l’extérieur. This Comfort Inn is intriguing: it's an American motel shoehorned into a beautiful old London facade, shabby decor and everything you'd expect from a Comfort Inn/Travellodge stateside. No frills and a free (tepid) breakfast and wifi thrown in. It's contradictory; brand new and spotless bathroom with a slimy shower head; old and worn (and they open!!! yay!!!) sash windows in keeping with the architecture, and a wonderful view across the rooftops towards the much more expensive St Pancras hotel. No bedbugs (I checked, I felt I had to check) and surprisingly quiet and peaceful so close to Pentonville Road and Kings Cross. Kettle and decent-sized mug in room, but bring your own instant as the free coffee is dishwater. Yes, I'd stay there again.
