Outstanding stay! The hotel was very clean, the beds were extremely comfortable, and the food was excellent with many dining options. The employees were friendly, helpful, and made the experience even better. Highly recommend!
Resort is great, food is delicious, beautiful beach. Everyone from the staff is super nice and helpful. Special thanks to Despina from the kids club. She was GREAT 😊
The hotel was lovely- felt small and cosy even though it was quite big. It had a family atmosphere, with a relaxed vibe. The food was lovely and varied. The staff were friendly and helpful.
The only negative to our stay was the gym which was dated and didn’t reflect the standard of the rest of the hotel.
Spectacular views from Premium Seaview room, No 502.
Food exceptionaly well prepared, something for everyone. Rich menu. The best food in Greece I ever had.
Staff professional, polite and welcoming.
Beach excellent.
Would come again.
Highly recomend.
Stunning all-inclusive place with exceptional food and customer service. Rooms were meticulously cleaned, The beach was incredible and the restaurants had different themed food days throughout the week. The Spa is also something that must be experienced as the Cretan message is unique on its own.-We were really able to unwind and enjoy after hopping the islands. Highly recommended!
Shout out for the food, the real ace in the sleeve of the resort. It was always great, fresh and offered many options for Cretan dishes. The beach and the sea are beautiful, as well as the whole resort. Rooms are good and functional (i.e. no walk-in showers, wardrobe with doors. etc). Entertainment was great, with different offering across the week. My view on points to upgrade: too many people playing in the swinning pool with balls, air mattresses, inflatable nets, etc. It became unbearable, especially with a little newborn (balls were flying also outside of the pool, hitting sunbeds).
Overall, I found the resort a very good place to spend holidays, and a great deal for the price we paid. I would consider coming back.
There’s a reason this hotel has so many good reviews - it’s absolutely amazingly well run.
The rooms actually looked better in person than the pictures to our surprise.
I was also very impressed with the food as it was all fresh, healthy and the variety served was all done to a high quality. The staff were also exceptionally helpful.
The only minor issue was people reserving sun loungers at the pool but that’s common in many places. However the hotel has ample sun loungers on the beach which made up for it.
Wow! Stay here!!!! Everything was incredible. All the staff were so friendly and accommodating. The food was truly delicious and so many options. I highly recommend the Italian restaurant on site, just make sure to book first thing as they require an advance reservation for the restaurants that are not the buffet. Also the buffet was great too! No bad choice here!
We loved everything about this hotel!
The staff... The cleanliness.
Everything is upkept. Nothing ever broken waiting to be fixed they are right on it.
So many amenities.
Food was fabulous
Pool and beach beautiful.
Not one single complaint
Absolutely enjoyed our stay at Agapi Beach Resort. We stayed in the Premium Sea View room which didn’t disappoint.
It was so wonderful to hear the waves crashing and the birds singing, making it a very relaxing holiday which we so needed.
We did not use the family pool due to most of the dinners being reserved early on by other guests, however we found ample beds around the heated pool and on the beach.
I’m looking to rebook for next year, however will be bringing my travel iron this time as these are not available in the rooms due to being a fire hazard.
All in all a very enjoyable stay.
Great resort, staff were super helpful especially those at the restaurant. The Spa was amazing and the staff took time to speak with us before recommending treatment to book. Location right on the beach made it a fantastic place to stay.
We stayed one week and had a pleasurable holiday. Food was fantastic and fresh. Big choice of fresh fruit and salads. Restaurant staff were very attentive and nice. One surprise was that there was absence of fresh orange juice, considering how many oranges are grown in Greece. Staff were polite, friendly and always smiling. Location of the Hotel was good, close to the airport and Heraklion City and there were plenty of small shops and restaurants nearby.
Bedlinen and towels were clean but we did find that the room floor was not always cleaned, noticing same bits on the floor 3 days in the row.
There are no ironing facilities in the Hotel and iron is not available if you ask for it which was a bit of a let down since many travellers would like to iron their clean dresses, shirts etc. taken out from the suitcases, without having to pay for it.
Air conditioning was working well and was very quiet although we did not use it much as it was not that hot at night time for us.
There was a small problem with water regulation in the shower, it was difficult to get it right and it was either too hot or little too cold.
We also found that in the evening, whilst sitting outside, waiters would only serve certain tables and keep going back to them, whilst never stopping at others.
Beach was windy at the time when we went and comparing with some other resorts we've been to, it was not being combed/ cleaned at all.
Overall it was a lovely hotel and we enjoyed it.
A beautifully maintained resort with great amenities, though room logistics could be smoother.
Overall, the resort was beautiful and well-maintained. The location is convenient, with several shops and restaurants within walking distance. Most of the staff were helpful and welcoming, though a few felt slightly distant—perhaps due to a language barrier, as I do not speak Greek.
Our stay had a rocky start when our reserved room wasn't available on the first night. I was placed in a bungalow and told it was an upgrade. However, once I moved into my actual reversed room the next day, I realized the reserved room was significantly better. It was modern, upgraded, and featured a wonderful view, whereas the bungalow's (room 654) view was largely blocked by a large tree. Additionally, the bathroom sink water had a strong, unpleasant odor throughout my entire stay.
The dining experience was typical for a resort—a mix of great, average, and mediocre options. My friends and I dined at the main buffet and the Italian restaurant, enjoying both. They offered a wide variety of choices, and the bread, crepes, lamb, and drinks were personal highlights.
The pool & beach areas were kept spotless, with attentive staff ensuring guests were comfortable. A special shoutout goes to the spa team, especially Erika and her colleague, who were incredibly friendly and kind while booking guests around the property.
Tip: The bungalow featured an international converter outlet that should added to all rooms.
