The staff and their family were wonderful! We went to see the eclipse, and the children brought everyone free bottles of water and free eclipse-viewing glasses. They were so sweet! The one problem that I thought needed to be taken care of pronto is that the shower is plumbed backwards: turning on the hot setting gives you cold water and turning on the cold setting gives you hot water. Someone could get accidentally scalded that way. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.

The property is really old and needed to be remodeled about 15 years ago. The rooms are acceptable but not very clean. Front desk lady was very nice. If I was traveling with my family I would not recommend it.

It was a very comfortable atmosphere. I ended up staying three nights. The beds are comfortable and up-to-date. Modern decor. Has a great continental breakfast. The staff is friendly from housekeeping all the way to the front desk. I highly recommend this as a place to stay.

Our room was nice - not exceptional, but nice. There was one issue, we were very close to the front lobby and with many people coming and going it was a little noisy until about midnight. So I gave them an overall good rating instead of excellent. But it was good.

Great price, clean room, wonderful desk staff
Very inexpensive overnight stay while traveling. I didn’t use much except for the bed but everything was clean, comfortable, and the night clerk was very nice. I was traveling alone with my daughter and I felt safe. Would recommend for anyone passing through looking for a simple overnight stay.

All in all, a good stay.
We asked for an early check in and late check out and the staff was very accommodating. The room was clean. I was disappointed that there was only 1 Kleenex in the box and, though there was shampoo, there was no conditioner. The door frame was in need of repair. It was apparent that the door had been forced open at one point. That was unsettling so whenever I heard a noise outside I jumped. We would stay at this hotel again.

This is a really run-down hotel, and it has the look of a half-finished/thought project, with new linoleum (?) floors, but missing fixtures, severe rust on everything metal, pink slime in the shower (the kind that takes weeks to form). Smoke from another room seeped into ours through the bathroom. There weren’t enough washcloths (2 for 5 ppl), so we asked for more; we got 2 more and were told the hotel didn’t have more washcloths. We stayed in a nice Super8 down the road about 500 miles, so it’s not the chain, but the owner. He charges a ridiculous amount for rooms (about $125 total for ours), but doesn’t seem to invest much into the hotel. His wife showed up, while we were leaving, in a Tesla (expensive car) with a few boxes of mangoes (expensive fruit); if he owned an apartment building, he would be considered a slumlord.

The rooms were comfortable and clean. Service was great. The grounds around the pool were a sad bunch of dead palms and roses. Limited continental breakfast was “limited”.

The room smelled like Marijuana when we walked in...which is a smell that never went away. There was no ice bucket. The hair dryer plug in was busted. The lever on the toilet was broken. And there was a very long hair in the shower.

The staff at the hotel was extremely rude and unaccommodating. This hotel itself was not tidy enough to force a $50 deposit or insist on a credit card deposit when the booking was made through Hotels.com who had my credit card information on file. I was extremely offended and will never use this hotel again for a short or long stay.
