“My family and I had wonderful stay at the "Cool House." The host were great and responded in a timely manner. We were down in L.I. for my sons baseball tournament and it was perfect located 20 minutes away from Lasorda Legacy park. It was great to wake up in the morning and see the bay from the deck. House was clean and had all the amenities.”

“This property has everything you need for a quick getaway! The owner Frank was super helpful and very responsive to any questions I had. He provided a lot of recommendations on where to eat, shop and explore. The home is located right by the beach-can walk right around the house and boom you are at the beach. I am sure it is business in the summer but in the winter it is nice and quiet! The location is in the center of everywhere you need to go for food, gas, restaurants, other beaches, etc....

“House has very nice view. Beds are comfortable and there are plenty of them. House is comfortable but nothing fancy. Well supplied with kitchen equipment. Could do with more lighting in downstairs bedroom. It would be helpful to have some maps and ideas about restaurants in the area. Good access (by car) to Fire Island beach.”

“What we liked: Nice location by the water. House is generally nice with full kitchen. False Advertising: At the time we booked, AC was listed multiple times as an amenity (I have screenshots of the original posting). There were no indications that parts of the house were not air conditioned. However, the home did NOT have central cooling, but instead had central heating. There were a couple of cooling units, one in the master bedroom & one in the living room. These only cooled the living area...

“This place has perfect location to walk to beach, such a cozy home. Although we came at tail end of the residual storm flow from hurricane Ian, and road was slightly flooded- we we able to navigate easily in our rental car. Gps was not our friend but when i contacted owner he was so nice! When i return to New York i will never stay anywhere else but here again!!”
