"We stayed here during a visit to the historic triangle, Williamsburg, Yorktown and Jamestown with our two daughters and two dogs. Maybe we didn't read it right, but we unexpectedly. We're thrilled to find a fence in yard. The dock was nice for fishing and while we didn't use the boats, it's nice that they were there as well. The house was clean and plenty big for all of us. It's about 40 minutes to Williamsburg and a little further to Busch gardens but we were able to have all the amenities of a riverfront property and not be too far from all those attractions. A+"

"We only stayed a couple of nights to visit with family who were in Cape Charles for a week. This house was perfect for our family. Clean, beautiful, well appointed, comfortable beds, wonderful hosts. The location was great - less than one block to the beach and a short walk to town. I parked and did not drive again until we left. The screened front porch was a great spot for family to gather. I adore this house!!"

"We came to the area for our granddaughter’s graduation and it was only minutes from the high school. It was in close proximity to quite a few good restaurants and downtown Mathews! The host was quick to reply to any questions or comments that we had. If the opportunity presented itself, we would definitely stay here again!"

"Memorial Day weekend my family and I wanted to get away and recharge. We have four children ranging from 16 - 6 y/o and 2 dogs. This rental property was perfect for us! When we were not at Hughlett Point Beach or Compass Entertainment Center, the children enjoyed the garage with darts, foosball and basketball. We be played games at night and enjoyed the morning sun out back. My husband and I were able to walk our dogs with ease and got to explore the neighborhood. I would recommend this property for anyone, or family looking to get away and relax! Communication with the host was excellent too!"

"My husband, chihuahua and I stayed at the cottage for 4 days while in Virginia. We loved the view of the water from all the windows that allowed natural light in. We watched all the birds and crabs while sitting on the back porch. The location is great for visiting all the Historic areas. We took a segway tour and Ghost tour in Yorktown. We spent a whole day walking around in Williamsburg. Being a history buff my husband really enjoyed it. I even learned a few things. LOL I would recommend staying here if in the area."
