"Nadine is an amazing host. She is very considerate and made us feel welcomed. She will go out of her way to help. The property was very clean and nicely appointed. The bedrooms upstairs were a bit hot but the weather was unusually hot for the time of year. It might be a good idea to invest in some air conditioning units for times when it is unbearable. We were very happy with our stay and Nadine was an excellent host."

"We have stayed with extended family and friends including a number of teens, baby and a large dog. Had brilliant time, house well equipped for all ages, pool is large and very well maintained. Extensive grounds with lots of places to relax including my favourite - the hammock! The views are to die for! All very clean and the owners were fantastic, helpful but not intrusive. We had such a lovely time and will come back to continue exploring the area - so much to do!"

"Thoroughly well equipped two bedroom apartment, which was very easy to live in. We loved the location, right amongst the Bordeaux wine region and only 20 minutes drive to Bordeaux. The hosts are absolutely lovely and welcomed us and helped us out in so many ways. We also really loved using the bikes to tour the country lanes. We can recommend the Sunday oysters at Moulon and the poissonerie at Branne. Also loved Chai Leon art deco wine bar ( Michel is a fabulous host and recommends fab wines)...

The location is amazing - what you see in the photos is exactly how it is. The river is a 60-second walk away with easy access in and out of the water. "La Tissonie is great and totally private and in such a beautiful rural location but only 10 minutes from the town of Riberac which has a fantastic market on a Friday. Fred was very welcoming and helpful when we needed to ask a few things.
