“The Away Place was amazing. It was exactly as described. It was beautiful with all the amenities. We chose to stay in at the cabin and enjoy the back deck and hot tub. But if weather had been better, the lake would have been great for kayaking and fishing. There are kayaks on the property. There are plenty of outdoor activities close nearby as well as restaurants. “This place is really a perfect spot to visit cloudland canyon and be up in the mountains. It's got a cute little lake behind it that has fish in it, and a little country restaurant right next door which is very handy. Perry is really good at decorating the place. We enjoyed looking at all the art. It seems like every time I come I bring the extreme cold temperature so I'm sorry about that. Lol.”
