“The instructions for this unit were a little confusing. The building security door doesn't lock and the entryway smells like stale cigarettes. We didn't realize door C opened up into more units, it was clearer from their private site instructions. I used the bathroom only to immediately find we had 0 toilet paper. “I visited Milwaukee for a graduation and selected this property primarily for the location which was across the street from my family. Upon arrival I became concerned as the building foyer and stairs leading to my floor were not impressive. But once inside the rental unit I relaxed. It is a very nice studio and I was very comfortable. Being a southerner I was unfamiliar with radiator heating but figured it out and was quite comfortable. “Nothing fancy: had everything we needed. The building itself was dirty in the hallways and smelled like cigarette smoke. The apartment was functional and clean. There is no lock on the inside of the door, which made us nervous since the building itself seemed dirty and sketchy. We had to pile things infront of the door. It served its purpose for the night. ”
