I liked that no one bothered, althought there was some noise. What I didn't like was the fact there was no coffee machine available for guests, only water. The toiletries were so smalll, not enough for a 2 night stay.

The staff were very friendly and tried their best to communicate with me in English. The property was very nice and quiet. My room was very clean. The only thing was there was no AC or fan, but it wasn’t really hot anyways

La habitación está bien por el precio, los jabones son genéricos y la calidad del internet es mala la mayoría del tienpo. Los recepcionistas son amables en general pero te brindan poca información acerca de los servicios del hotel. Durante toda mi estancia no me hicieron servicio de limpieza en la habitación, incluso cuando en una ocasión se lo pedí directamente a la camarista. La ubicación en general es buena, hay una estación de metro a una cuadra y está relativamente cerca de lugares emblemáticos de la CDMX.

The rooms need air conditioning!
Excellent hotel, the only problem is that there is no air conditioning and the rooms get too hot. The windows have very small openings that are not sufficient to cool the rooms and there are no screens on the windows and the mosquitoes get in.

There was a hole in the wall in my room. It looked like someone had tried to repair it but not well enough. Room was large but very dated and rough. Doors from the street always open to reception and it just did not feel safe.

Great hotel for Solo, Couples, or friend trips.
I loved this Hotel, the location was ideal for my trip. Just be aware, this it not the typical Family hotel because it has a Motel in the back, so the noises might not be good for a family environment. Other than that, I had the best stay, the staff is really friendly and always ask if you need something.

Everything was nice about the hotel except that around 1am I was woken up by ridiculous loud talking and laughing. I went down to check where it was coming from and it was in the hallway. Bunch of men smoking and drinking. I didn’t sleep at all.

It was a good stay the hotel was in a decent part of town the staff was nice and willing to help. The staff asked me what floor I wanted and were even willing to upgrade my room since they saw I had a baby with us.

My first time in Mexico and my hotel robed me
I am writing this review because I am extremely concern for the safety for everyone who reserves at the hotel max íntimo. Me and my family ( 7 children and 7 adults) stayed in this hotel for 7 nights. While arriving we first encounter a disappointment when the recepcionist told us, in a very rude manner that one of out reservations did not showed in her records. It was a 40 minute process to resolved the issue. During the third night a different recepcionist haven ya for the first time the option of placing our valuables in a "safety envelope". Our family travels a minimum of twice per year. We have never had any of our stuff stolen. On our last day me and my mother in law realize that money have been stolen from our wallet. The wallets were kept, for safety reasons, in our rooms for the entire stayed. As soon as we realized that our money was missing we called the hotel. The same recepcionist who had trouble finding our reservations answer the phone and told my husband "we are not responsible for any missing items". Please be warn of the lack of profesionalism and integrity shown to our family. I will Never put my family in danger for trying to saved a few pesos.

Convenient and clean hotel
I stayed 3 nights, loved that the Zocalo was aprox a 30 minute walk. Anytime I called the reception to request something, they came to my room within a few seconds. Very friendly staff & I will definitely return when I come back to visit Mexico City!

Fantastic Hotel for the Price
This was a fantastic hotel for the price. Very friendly manager and staff who shared their knowledge of the area with us. Very clean rooms and public spaces. Only a 20 minute stroll to Zocalo. Brilliant.

Nice place but
Everything about the hotel is nice, the room, the decor, the service. But the one thing that ruins everything big time, is that atrocious perfumed cleaner they throw everywhere. It is pervasive! I think it is called "fabuloso" and people in mexico love mopping the floors and even washing the sidewalks with this. My husband and I woke up completely congested, and this lasted 3 days. We are not the delicate type, we are backpackers and have been everywhere! someone needs to tell the cleaning crew of every single hotel to stop using this cleaner in such amounts. It is vile.

Reasonable hotel in a bad neighbourhood
This hotel is clearly a thinly veiled "adult" hotel, as reflected by the decor and other guests we glimpsed. That being said, for the price the room is quite nice, with a king size bed and reasonable bathroom facilities. The neighbourhood is not good, but there are nice areas within walking distance. The hotel has clearly been renovated recently, but this has been done cheaply and this place was already showing signs of wear. Overall, not bad for a hotel on a budget.

the room is big and comfortable, it has all the basic needs covered, the only downside is that there's no air conditioning in the room and it tends to get really hot at night

After booking with expedia many times, this had never happened. The pictures and text described something quite different. It was in a horrible neighborhood, dirty. We had to leave. We couldn't have stayed there. We lost the money, for that one night. I think descriptions of the hotel should be more accurate. Bad experience.
