Great property in Andalusia
Lovely property in the Andalusian countryside. It is a really nice place to rest and relax in but is only a 20 minute drive to the shops and less than 2 hour drive to cities/sites in different directions- Seville, Malaga and the coast, Granada, and less than an hour to Cordoba. The house is spacious, the swimming pool is brilliant- it’s location and size makes the property. Round the pool are good shaded areas and lovely views. Gavin was a really good host, quick to reply to questions and very helpful. We had a great time in Andalusia and this property was a massive part of it.

Rural Bliss
What a fantastic place to stay, tucked away in the hills surrounded by olive trees and vines. We stayed here for 10 days, the Casa and pool are wonderfully appointed. A great holiday was had by all including our teenage daughters who loved the pool and WiFi! Gavin and Jamina couldn't have been more helpful.

Montilla villa
Excellent villa in beautiful location overlooking olive groves and vineyards. The villa is spacious, and the pool is great, with far reaching views. Great location with Sevilla 1.5hrs away, Córdoba under an hour and Granada 2hrs. Towns of Montilla and Cabra worth a visit too. Owners were really helpful and were great with the communication.

Rural Idyll
Waking up to the sound of birdsong and gazing outover olive trees to the hills of Subbetica beyond, you know you're in a good place. Casilla La Rambla is a lovely little house with excellent outdoor areas so that you can sit and enjoy the Andalucian sunshine anytime of day. The house is well-equipped for a self-catering holiday, while excellent host Gavin ensures you have the information you need to make the most of your stay. A car is essential as rural peace comes at the price of supermarkets being a 20 minute drive away and only the village bar being within walking distance - and that with a 2km uphill walk home.

Delightful Villa & First Class Hosts
Can’t recommend this villa enough. Simply beautiful, immaculately clean. The towels are fluffy and I should have asked what fabric conditioner they use! The location was perfect for us, so peaceful but within easy reach of vibrant towns and cities. The hosts are salt of the earth, lovely people. So helpful and they clearly really care about you having a fantastic holiday. Thank you so much!

Give It A Chance
Lovely little hideaway tucked in the hills between Montilla and Lucena. We stayed for a week and did day trips to Cordoba, Malaga, Nerja, and other smaller towns and villages (Priego and Zuheros were noteworthy). Property owners were very friendly and helpful as well. Perfect family holiday!
We were really impressed with Gavins communication from the moment we made contact to the day we left , he was on hand if required but also respected our privacy. We went as a family all requiring different things from our holiday and we were not disappointed. The accommodation was as pictured and described and gave us the chance to relax and unwind. The pool was a real hit with us all, especially my 11 year old son. Inside the accommodation we had all we needed for our stay, all we did was add the food! We hired a car and were able to get out and about and explore other areas. Overall, super hosts who went out of their way to make us feel welcome, I would be more than happy to recommend a stay at the villa.

My kind of paradise...
Most importantly the owners and their family are brilliant. We had complete privacy, yet they where a holler away should we need anything. The pool where most time was spent as the temperature averaged 35 the week we stayed, is big enough for a good swim, but not too daunting for our daughter who is six. Who incidentally finally felt confident enough to swim lengths. All you need is here, comfortable loungers various terraces for dining, shade, comfy beds, useful local information, etc. And beauty everywhere you look. Olive groves, vineyards - and cotton plants are the main feature. There are lots of trees in the garden - lemon, plums, pomegranate, almond, orange, quince ... and the views. Wow!! Look around from the top of the driveway whilst taking in spectacular sunsets. Seriously. Wow!! The property is spotless and really well positioned. Not too close to anything, but near enough to everything you might possibly need. There are masses of provisions shopping choices, but the carrefour in Lucena has everything you might need and sticks local produce. If you want a market - lucena is Wednesday, Montilla is Friday. I hope to come back and cannot recommend highly enough - the five stars aren’t enough! As I said to our hosts the website doesn’t do the place justice. Much better than advertised.

Superb place to stay away from the hustle and bustle. Gavin and Jamina could not be more friendly or helpful, and the property was great- wonderful views and wonderful pool in the hills surrounded by vines and olive trees.

Lovely house and pool. Very well laid out and fitted out. Very secluded. Great experience. Loved it.
Lovely house for my wife and I. We enjoyed the seclusion and the pool days. Great spot for touring Granada, Seville and Cordoba. My personal preference would be for air con in one room but, that said, we would definitely book again. Excellent value for money and lack of a damages deposit made the experience more relaxed. Perfect peace and quiet with fantastic facilities
The property is in a perfect location for visits to Cordoba, Seville and Granada and is easily accessible from Malaga. The accommodation has everything you could need and the pool is the idea way to spend the lazy days or for unwinding after a visit. The location is extremely quiet and yet close to good shops and main roads. Gavin and Jermena are really good hosts, always there when you need them but also very hands off. We had a fantastic two weeks and we would highly recommend this property.

Stunning Villa in a phenomenal location
Stunning Villa in a beautiful location. Owners are extremely friendly and helpful and no matter what you need they are on hand to support you, whilst also giving you full privacy and seclusion. We had a perfect family holiday here, ideal for families but would also be perfect for couples/adults only. The tranquillity and peaceful surroundings are something else, the scenary around the villa is magnificent and if you are hiring a car it's location is ideal to get around Andalusia to see the sights such as Seville, Cordoba, Malaga and the Costa Del Sol. Nearby there are many beautiful villages and towns, I'd advise learning some Spanish or brushing up on it, but well worth visiting them for food and drink and to absorb the culture. Many thanks to the Bradley's (The owners) for their hospitality and we hope to come back one day!!! Highly recommended if you want a relaxing holiday in fantastic surroundings!!!!

Great place to stay
We had a really good time with the kids, lovely house with a private pool, great location with lots of things to see in the region ; beautiful villages around and not far from Cordoba. To note the owners are really nice people who give you privacy but are always available to help and make your stay as comfortable as possible. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic relaxing holiday
After a very long drive it was great to be met by Gavin and Jermina to begin our planned relaxing holiday. The villa was just what we had anticipated, in a calm location away from the usual touristy centres. Our three girls instantly fell in love with the pool, ( and spent most of the rest of the holiday in it). We were able to explore the local community and beyond but we all enjoyed coming back to the villa at the end of the day. Watching the stars from the sunbeds round the pool is something not to be missed. Thank you so very much Gavin and Jermina we really hope to see you again. Charlie, Heather, Hayley, Lucy and Zoe

Quiet rural setting to relax by the pool or take walks over the olive groves and vines.
We enjoyed two weeks of total relaxation in the hills of Andalusia. The property has all you require for an enjoyable break. The pool is large and exclusive to the single property and offers amazing views of the countryside. As the location is so elevated - 600 metres the Vista is almost 360. Easy access to large towns for shopping and excellent connections to cities like Cordoba make this a complete experience. Our hosts Gavin and family were very helpful and at hand for tips and guidance on local points of interest.

Very peaceful retreat
The apartment is in good decorative order and can sleep six without resorting to a sofa. The setting, in an olive grove, is idyllic. The surrounding rolling countryside is all olive trees and vines, and the whole vast area is surrounded by distant mountains. It is really quiet. However, November may not be the best time to go. We had seven days of rain, and it was VERY cold, particularly at night. Gavin and Jermena, who live next door, were really kind and helpful, and provided us with an electric heater when we asked for it. If the weather had been better we would have done more travelling. Córdoba is very do-able and worth it. Seville is probably possible in a day, with an early start, likewise Granada. There is a major supermarket 15 minutes drive away, which is worth a trip in itself! If the sun shone, you wouldn't want to leave the apartment.

Relaxation among olive trees
A great place out in the country to relax. We loved the pool and the setting. Great views! Gavin is a great host. The villa is in a good condition but could use a little spruce up.

Shocked at your final comment but it certainly needed a spruce up after you left, never have we had such dirty, untidy guests, who showed a total disregard for other people's property!! Hemos pasado 4 noches en la casa de invierno por nochevieja y se nos han hecho cortas. La casa tiene dos habitaciones, perfecta para 3/4 personas, mantiene el encanto original pero esta perfectamente acondicionada. Chimenea, agua caliente, luz, baño y cocina funcionan sin ningún inconveniente, como en casa. Las terrazas son bastante soleadas, están muy bien preparadas y accesibles. Y con la barbacoa a mano que usamos un par de días. Los dueños han estado muy pendientes de que no nos faltara de nada, encantadores. La zona es muy silenciosa con caminos para pasear y cerca de parajes naturales y pueblos bonitos para visitar en coche. Repetiremos para cuando el tiempo nos pida un baño en la piscina!

Well, that's a first, nobody has ever said it is noisy, there is nobody here, I'm guessing you are talking about the odd tractor or farm workers!! Living in rural Spain, one has to expect a bit of noise occasionally from a tractor!!

Todo genial. Habían muchas cosas que habían dejado los dueños como aceite, sal, té, carbón, jabón de platos y de manos, etc. De vez en cuando se apagaba la llama del termo pero no era inconveniente, pues los dueños estaban al lado dispuestos a ayudar siempre. Sin duda, para repetir!

Zalige woning en ligging.
We hebben deze woning gehuurd voor 10 dagen en het is zeker een aanrader. Prachtig uitzicht, heel rustig. Gavin en zijn vrouw zijn heel lieve en behulpzaam mensen. Ik zou deze woning zeker nog eens huren. Het zwembad is ook zalig. Een perfecte plaats als je rust wilt en niet ver van de stad.

Maravilloso!!
El sitio es maravilloso, es tal cual como se ve en el anuncio. La casa es muy cómoda. La piscina está rodeada de árboles y plantas que parece que estás solo con la naturaleza. Además es de buen tamaño y da para unos largos. Estuvimos en agosto y pese a las altas temperaturas de la épica dormimos fenomenal, por la noche corre brisa y refresca al estar en la parte de arriba de la montaña . El entorno es muy tranquilo y precioso, unas vistas de ensueño. Gavin y su familia, unos anfitriones estupendos. Volveremos!!!

Casa en ubicación muy tranquila en medio de los campos de olivos a 15 min en coche de Montilla. La casa cuenta con todo lo necesario para pasar con unos dias estupendos. Gavin nos a cuidado muy bien! Alquiler totalmente recomendable!!

Todo estupendo... pero en invierno... en cuanto se va el sol... o en dias nublados... hace frio en la casa... le falta una chimenea o estufa de leña... solo tiene unos radiadores... q cuando se ponen todos a la vez... salta la luz... habría q mejorar eso.

There are heaters in every room, they tend not to work too well when you have the windows and the front door open all day, therefore letting any heat escape.

Ruhig gelegen um auch mal zwischendurch einen Tag im Garten mit einem Buch zu verbringen. Córdoba ist in knapp 40min zu erreichen und sehr zu empfehlen. Die Vermieter sind sehr hilfsbereit wenn man etwas braucht oder wissen möchte und ansonsten hat man seine Ruhe. Würde es wieder buchen!

Bel endroit pour se poser et profiter du soleil andalou au bord de la piscine!
Merci pour l'accueil de la famille Bradley, pour leur gentillesse et leur disponibilité. La maison se situe au milieu des champs d'oliviers, la vue y est magnifique, et l'espace extérieur est agréablement aménagé. Nous avons apprécié de passer du temps au bord de la piscine(très fraiche en avril), à profiter du calme, du soleil, du paysage et des arbres fruitiers: oranges et citrons à volonté. La maison est propre, agréable et spacieuse(nous étions 5). Cordoue est à 40mn de route, et les villages de la sierra subbetica également. Pour les courses, nous sommes allé à Montilla, 15mn en voiture. Merci, nous gardons un excellent souvenir de ce séjour. Famille Chevalier Marquet

Heerlijke rustige locatie
Het verblijf in deze woning was fijn. De verhuurder woont ernaast en biedt ondersteuning indien nodig, maar je zit wel volkomen privé. Het uitzicht is prachtig en het ligt mooi. Het huisje heeft ook alles wat je nodig hebt. Voor mij persoonlijk waren de bedden een beetje hard en een beetje kort (1,80) maar voor de rest was alles prima. Zeker een aanrader.

Ancienne maison agricole au milieu de champs d'oliviers
Maison spacieuse, au calme et idéalement située sur la route du Califat entre Cordoue et un parc naturel. Magnifique terrasse et grande piscine (un peu juste cette année au mois d'avril) entourée de milliers d'oliviers. Gavin et sa famille sont proches pour répondre à toute question.

Séjour merveilleux
Nous avons passé 4 jours à la Rambla, maison de vacances de Gavin et sa femme. Le paysage est impressionnant. La maison est confortable et calme. La piscine est un vrai bonheur après un journée de visite de la région. Gavin et sa femme sont d'une gentillesse et d'une discrétion qu'on a beaucoup apprécié.
