Escape to Mount Beauty! Perched on the high side of town, this family-friendly home offers stunning views of the pondage and mountains. Relax on the front deck, enjoy modern amenities, and explore nearby trails, cafes, and local attractions. The perfect base for adventure or relaxation in Victoria's High Country!
The Space:
Nestled in the heart of Mount Beauty, Candlewick Cottage is a beautifully refurbished three-bedroom retreat, perfect for a family getaway or a romantic escape. This fully self-contained cottage comfortably accommodates up to six guests, offering all the comforts of home.
The sleeping arrangements include:
Bedroom 1 - Queen bed
Bedroom 2 - Double bed
Bedroom 3 - Two single beds (There is a single trundle bed under one of the singles that slides out. This is available upon request. An additional cost for linen will be applied if you require this trundle, so please message us prior to booking)

The fully equipped kitchen, laundry, two toilets, main bathroom, and ensuite provide everything needed for a comfortable stay. Convenient off-street parking for two vehicles is accessible via a rear access road.

Unwind on the deck with a glass of wine as you take in the breathtaking mountain and lake views, or start your day with a coffee in the sun-soaked lounge. Stroll just five minutes to the main street, where you'll find cafes, shops, and eateries, or enjoy a relaxed evening at Quaff Wine Bar. The local brewery and restaurants are also within easy reach.

For outdoor lovers, the nearby lake, BBQ area, and playground provide the perfect setting for a leisurely afternoon. Set in a peaceful location with an elevated aspect. Positioned at the base of Falls Creek, it's just a scenic 45-minute drive (30km) to the alpine resort.

There is parking for one car via rear access (Hill Street) and plenty of free street parking on Arthur St.
With a fully equipped kitchen, crockery, and cutlery, everything is provided-just arrive, relax, and enjoy your stay in this charming home away from home.
Getting Around:
Best to travel to this area by car and allow extra time during peak season.

House Rules (Important, please read)
To ensure a pleasant stay and maintain good relations with our neighbours and the local council, please adhere to the following:
1. Every group must sign a booking agreement provided by Peachy Properties.
2. A security deposit via credit card pre-authorisation is required for non-Airbnb bookings, released 7 days post-checkout.
3. Outdoor areas are off-limits after 10:30 PM, including decks, balconies.
4. No parties or unapproved gatherings allowed at any time.
5. Loud music or activities that disturb neighbours are prohibited at all times; the property has Noise Alarms.
6. No "schoolies, bucks or hens' bookings. Please adhere to this policy.
7. No bookings from groups under the age of 28.
8. Smoking is prohibited both inside and outside the property.
9. Only the number of guests specified in your booking can be on the property, with a strict maximum of 6 guests unless prior approval is obtained.
10. Parking is only permitted in designated areas on the property; no street or nature strip parking - There is space for 2-cars.
Guest Limit Policy: The maximum number of guests allowed on the property at any time—day or night—must not exceed the number stated on the listing. Due to strict insurance requirements, additional visitors beyond the booked guests are not permitted. Therefore, any breach of any rules may result in immediate eviction and enforcement of penalties.
