This hotel was close to the train station and Old Munich so that’s a plus. The hotel was clean and had friendly staff. There was no dining or breakfast available. The area was definitely very noisy (pretty much all night) with people yelling and chanting. The hotel is next door to a strip club and was not safe to venture out alone after dark. Each morning there were at least two drunk men sitting at the coffee shop next door who would try to interact with us. Not a bad hotel as long as you know where you’ll be.

This was perfect for what we needed. I wanted something close to the deutsches Stadttheater and it couldn’t have been better. There were lots of yummy restaurants close by. Perfect for what we needed.

Terrific little boutique hotel within easy walking distance (200m) of the Central train station. I stayed here last year as well and the rooms still look brand new, WiFi is excellent and I love the Netflix and Prime apps on the TV.

Best time in Munich
The customer service was wonderful by the front desk clerk (I can't remember her name). She was super helpful with helping me find parking as well as check-in in a speedy manor. The room was really cute, clean, and very quiet. Amazing shower!!!!

The hotel itself was ok and the staff were generally quite nice. Quick walk to public transportation which is key. However, the hotel is located right next to strip clubs w flashing lights and loud men all hours of the night. My room’s window in particular was directly above the flashing neon sign for lap dances and the curtains do not properly fit to close out the light. It made it very difficult to sleep. The bed was also two twins pushed together so there was a large uncomfortable space in between. Additionally, the room smells of cigarette smoke if you try to open a window for fresh air. Not the best place to stay but it gets the job done if you have a quick trip and want to be close to central transportation.

Modern, clean rooms. Very comfortable bed. Close to train station, coffee shop, and Old Town. Room was a little warm and I wish it had a coffee maker. Would totally stay there again.

Location is walkable to Oktoberfest grounds, which is what we came for so that was fantastic. Marienplatz was about 15 min walk, which is also fantastic! The street this hotel is located on is extremely loud and people were in the streets until about 5am. A/C was set at 77 degrees and could not change it, room was very hot and we couldn’t bear to open the windows because it was so loud.

Property was nice and new and staff were good. The area the property was located is very scary, we were to scared to leave at night. If they could pick up and relocate we would definitely stay again.

Highly recommended Bayers City Hotel
Beautiful hotel with an extremely helpful team. The location is perfect for the city centre, station and underground. Yes, the outside is noisy, like any city centre hotel but once inside the hotel is calm and tranquil with efficient double glazing to block out most noise.

The staff here was amazing and so accommodating! Rooms were very nice, clean and updated. Less than a 10 min walk to the train station and many metro routes. Street was somewhat safe but we were definitely cautions at night.

Overall is clean and location is not bad. Near the train station and Karlplatz. The room is quite small though. Minimal space around. May not be suitable for people with claustrophobic. Good for 1-2 night stay. Only small small downside is 2 steps stairscase to lift. Need to carry luggages up

The room is comfortable and staff are friendly and nice. But the location is located near bars and will be really noisy even past 3am every night. You will hear men talking, yelling till late night and is not possible to have good or even proper rest.

Nice hotel, exceptional staff
Stayed 5 nights with my daughter. Room was righty sized for two, decor was nice and clean. The bathroom isn't it's own separate room, the shower and toilet are both enclosed in glass but accessible immediately from the room. That's fine for couples, was a tad awkward for 50+ year old dad and 18 yo daughter, but we managed. Staff was exceptionally helpful. I rented a mobility scooter (actually the rental I made in advance was cancelled, the concierge found another vendor in minutes) and they moved it between basement and outdoors (including a step at entry) every day, without complaint.

This is only a small hotel but the location is fantastic being only 200m from Central Station and within easy walking distance to the main tourist areas. My room looked new and was super clean, WiFi was excellent as was the large flat screen TV with apps such as Netflix, Youtube etc. I had a very comfortable stay.

Pros: The rooms are large, clean and relatively modern. The location is very close to the train station and a multitude of restaurants. Cons: It was SO noisy! Both nights we could hear people outside our windows yelling at 2am. Also, it's not a very nice neighborhood. Even though it's between the train station and Marienplatz, it's a rundown area with a lot of guys hanging around. It doesn't feel unsafe, though, because there's a lot of activity. For the price, it was a good place to stay and was very centrally located.

Downtown and short walk to Central Station. A lot of nightclubs on the doorstep, which is great but can be a bit noisy late in the morning. Room was compact but well equipped. Good value hotel option.

New, stylish & conveniently located.
Shiny new (renovated?) hotel, conveniently located near the central train station. Styling rooms & friendly staff. Ideal for a business trip. The hotel does not offer breakfast, but there is a cafe right next door.

We loved our stay at Bayer's City Hotel. Being near the train station it couldn't be more convenient for getting around. With that, you can also expect that it might not be in the 'best' area of town, however safety was never an issue. This hotel was perfect for our visit to Munich. We got a great deal for our money.
