"The property is gorgeous, the staff was very attentive and all the requests were promptly addressed.
The room was big and clean but they don’t have AC. During the day can get warm but overnight there were no issues.
The food was delicious and the service was outstanding.
Overall we highly recommend this property. "

"This resort was the definition of peaceful. We went during late March as part of our honeymoon trip and it was beautiful! The staff are all wonderful and sweet. The food was great and the view paired with it made it worth the stay. They are very affordable for what felt like staying in a castle! The resort offered many things to do in all seasons so we would like to go back in the future to see what summer is like there! "

"This place is an Absolute Gem if you want to feel that “Under the Tuscany Sun” Vibe. Every corner there is a Photo opportunity, and still pictures cannot capture the Amazing Ambience of this Villa. It is not modern and modernized, but if you are looking for an old castle stay, this Villa is your Gem! "

"It was a pleasure to stay in Guido’s beautiful Villa. The place had endless character and charm. It was very quiet. Close for day trips to Florence and Poppi, which was an incredible alternative to the touristy towns. We also had the best meals at Mandri nearby - all locals - and got to meet Guido’s charming family. The home was a step back in time and a perfect escape for a quiet week in Italy. A. A"
"My wife and I found the cutest villa on top of a mountain top. About 40 minutes. Outside of Florence called Villa Campestre. They were very accommodating with us deciding to have our rehearsal dinner with them last minute. Definitely not the easiest because there’s 20 people and they make all of their food in house. But they did it with a smile and ease. Pictures couldn’t even describe how beautiful this place was. Each room had its own espresso maker in it so you could easily wake up and enjoy a morning coffee while looking over the beautiful mountain side. Transportation to get up there was a little tricky, but also kept away all the through traffic. We had 10 couples (20 guests total) and there was plenty of room for both of our families to enjoy space and the common area was huge for us all to gather comfortably too. 10/10 would highly recommend. You are also roughly 6 minutes away from a train station and for under $10 you can go directly into Florence."
