Wonderful property--beautiful, clean cabin with lots of light and gorgeous green views. Perfect location is only a short drive to Athens and great trails for dog friends near Hope Furnace. Property also included excellent walking trails. Hosts were friendly and responsive. Already planning our stay for next year!

Honeymoon Getaway

My husband and I got married the weekend prior to our stay here and it was the perfect secluded getaway. We brought our dogs and they loved it just as much as us. We would love to make a trip back.

Exactly as advertised

This beautiful cabin in a very secluded area was absolutely perfect for us. Believe the pictures! It was as beautiful as they show. Very private. Close to Hocking Holls State Park, about a 30 minute drive. There is a Lake Park very near the cabin, along with other things to see and do. We very much enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to come back.

Perfect for visiting Lake Hope State Park

I thoroughly enjoyed the property. The place is set up perfectly for a weekend getaway. I had easy access to wake. Hope State Park, where my family was having a family reunion. I would highly recommend.

Nice quiet location

The cabin is very nice and clean. Property is nice and quiet with a nice little trail. My wife and I came here with our dogs and they loved getting some sniffs in! Overall great experience and place to stay. Would recommend.

Excellent Getaway in Nature

We greatly enjoyed our stay in this cabin. The location was quiet and secluded, the cabin itself was clean, cozy, and well stocked with kitchen supplies and linens. The porch faces the woods, which makes for a peaceful setting for your morning coffee or just hanging out. The hot tub was a great feature, which we used multiple times during our visit We didn't have any issues during our stay, but our only criticism would be that the wall units for heating/cooling were somewhat loud even when it's in "quiet mode". Not a huge problem. When we eventually make a trip back to the area, we will definitely look into this cabin again

Amazing! Cannot Wait to Come Back

Our stay was amazing! Wish we could’ve stayed longer but we enjoyed the cabin very much. Perfect for a couples getaway or for a small family. We loved the proximity to Athens and all the hiking. The cabin was very clean and the response time from the owner was very quick. Would highly recommend!

Great time!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The big windows and doors offered a stunning view of the woods. The covered deck kept us cool in the sunny afternoons and also provided shelter as we watched a rainy evening blow in. An easy 15-20 minutes to stock up on groceries and grilling supplies. Our dogs had a great time visiting nearby Ash Cave. We hope to return again to enjoy other seasons here!

A Long Weekend of Rest

Peaceful, calming, and comfortable. The cabin lived up to all pictures. The porch looking into the woods was so relaxing. Loved the tall ceilings and wall of windows. This is one place we will keep saved for that quick trip out of town.

Adorable!

We loved this cabin! It was very clean and cozy, we had everything we could have needed. Stayed for OU Mom’s Weekend, but would definitely love to come back for a relaxing weekend!
