“The property is just as pictured in the listing and is beautiful. Communicating with the property manager was a bit of a challenge. They list a phone number but if you don't have a working cell phone when you land, the number is useless. They suggest communicating by WhatsApp and that is fine, as long as you have the internet, which you will not have in your vehicle. So, coordinating with the manager on arrival was a bit of a problem while in transit. The road to the property needs grading as it...

“Das Feriendomizil ist schon etwas besonderes. Der Tag findet praktisch im Freien statt, gefühlt bist du aber im Wohnzimmer. Die Schlafräume sind etwas abseits, die Betten sind sehr gut, hier gibt es eine AC. Der Pool ist das absolute highlight, er ist sehr sauber und wird wöchentlich geprüft. Der Garten ist sehr gepflegt, die Gärtner sind oft bei der Arbeit. Hier kann man Tiere beobachten die man sonst nicht sieht. Das Wohnen in dem Haus war schön.”

“Javier is an excellent host. Communicates well and is very responsive. Condo is a 13-minute walk from Playa Pelada and the beachside Olga’s Restaurant is highly recommended. Modern bathrooms and kitchen with plenty of water pressure. Air conditioning in bedrooms works well. Comfortable beds. Pool is a small plunge pool, handy for cooling off. Safe area with outside locked gate and codes for entry both to locked gate and condo. Recommend a 4WD or ATV to get around as some roads are steep,...

“The property and surroundings/atmosphere was amazing, thank goodness for the pool and having AC for sleeping. The kitchen was well equipped, easy to find everything and everything was there. The home beautifully appointed and had a wonderful Costa Rican character and made it easy to feel the Pura Vida vibe!!!!”

“Stayed here for guys surf trip. Great layout for 3-4 individuals with own private sleep areas and common rooms. Plunge pool was great for quick cool down and hang out area. 5 min walk to Bodhi Tree yoga resort which had classes every hour plus great breakfasts. 10-15 min walk to town or can call tuk-tuk. House is on quieter side of town and 5 min walk to the beach. Ryan was great help with dinner and surf reservations and wealth of knowledge about the area. Would definately stay here again.”

“The property is in an excellent location with easy access to the beach and local restaurants. The bungalow was spacious and comfortable for our family. We spent a lot of time on the patio and the pool was refreshing after a day on the beach. Dave was very helpful and made our stay easy and enjoyable. Highly recommend! ”

“Beautiful property! I hope I can come back again next year. Location was roomy, quiet and safe. We walked to the beach every morning for a swim and then Bohdi for yoga. House was so clean and comfortable. Lots of towels and linens for swimming and pool lounging. Concierge was so so helpful with bookings and questions. Highlights were the snorkeling trip and Coffee farm experience with Kenneth. One of our best finds ever! Enjoy”

“We had a lovely stay at Ben's casita. It's a clean, comfortable space with very comfortable beds. Ben and the community manager were extremely accommodating regarding check in and check out, which we really appreciated. The casita is near the river and we could hear howler monkeys and saw some beautiful birds. We'd stay here again.”

“The villa is just as pictured. And I could literally live in the salt water pool. This home is away from sights, so I definitely suggest arranging a driver, as the roads are difficult to navigate. But this also gives you tranquility. The concierge Dani is absolutely wonderful. She planned the trip ahead of time with us and even helped us with a couple difficulties that arose. We also recommend booking a meal with their kind Chef Adrian.”

“We LOVED staying here. It was a nice reprieve from the town centre and offered a completely different view being up so high. We did book it because it was walking distance to the beach, but I wouldn't really say it is as it's a pretty dusty dirt road a long way down, so the way back up would be pretty intense.”
