Great start for a new hotel.

A lovely welcome from friendly, well trained staff who spoke excellent English. Special thanks to Paula the manager and Thaomir and Mate. The hotel had only been opened for two weeks and everything was running perfectly. Hotel design is very modern and mainly white but with some subtle pastel colours. Bed was incredibly comfortable and we were only the second guests to stay in the room. Food was excellent with great breakfast buffet and excellent coffee, though you have to pay extra for eggs at breakfast. Our only two niggles were that the shower is over the bath and not in a separate cubicle (and this seems rather a dated idea) and we didn't like the music that was constantly played. The type of music changed throughout the day, but was 'computer generated' andwe could have done without it. The sound of conversation and the sea are enough for us. Met Roberto, the owner, who welcomed our comments but I have a feeling that the music won't change..........it was turned down, however, at our request!! A great stay and Novigrad is a great little town

Tudo muito bom exceto o problema do ar condicionado que no terceiro dia virou aquecedor e a noite ficava insuportável o calor. A solução proposta foi abrirmos a varanda porém com vizinhos fumantes e os mosquitos ficava inviável… Também não entendi porque fizeram questão de não dar late checkout para cliente Gold Experia, visto que o hotel estava vazio e exigiram saída às 11:00h. No mais tudo certo.

Service dürftig

Wir sind im Annex-Gebäude untergekommen. Das war nicht weiter schlimm, die Lage war etwas zentraler und die paar Minuten zu Fuss zum Hauptgebäude waren okay. Unser Zimmer war sehr gross und sehr schön. Das Bett war äusserst bequem. Enttäuscht hat uns allerdings die Sauberkeit im Zimmer; schimmlige Fugen, überall Kalkspuren. Am zweiten Tag stand unsere Zimmertür sperrangelweit offen - jeder konnte reinmarschieren und sich an unseren Habseligkeiten bedienen. Dabei waren gerade mal die Bettdecken aufgeschüttet worden. Leere Glasflaschen aus der Minibar wurden nicht entsorgt. Das Frühstück war in Ordnung, die Aussicht aufs Meer wirklich schön. Allerdings gab es am zweiten Tag keinen gedeckten Tisch mehr für uns - wir mussten an einem schmutzigen Tisch sitzen und unser Besteck selbst organisieren. Es hat niemand Anstalten gemacht, uns einen Tisch bereit zu machen, auch nachdem wir darum gebeten hatten. Es ist nur der Chef zu uns gekommen und hat frech gefragt was das Problem sei und dass da ja ein Tisch sei - ja, den wir selbst decken mussten. Nicht wirklich sympathisch. Daraufhin haben wir die Unterkunft einen Tag früher verlassen. Wir können das Rivalmare Boutique Hotel nicht weiterempfehlen. Vor allem nicht in Anbetracht des doch recht stolzen Preises den wir bezahlt haben.

Das Hotel ist schön und wie beschrieben. Wir waren jedoch, für uns bei der Buchung nicht erkennbar, in einem Nebengebäude in der Stadt untergebracht. Das hat mit einem Hotelaufenthalt nichts zu tun und war dafür definitiv viel zu teuer. Also Vorsicht beim Buchen und genau nachfragen, um was für ein Zimmer es sich handelt.
