“Good amount of shops nearby and very convenient for travelling between Tahoe and Sacramento. Very easy parking and very kind and helpful staff at the window. The room was a little worse for wear with every tile in the bathroom being loose and seeing a thick grey carpet of dust on the upper half of the curtains.”
“The highlight of this Inn is the staff. As soon as I checked in I felt like I was making a friend, not just checking in. Had a little mechanical issue in the room and I was moved right away. The staff was great!
The Inn was very clean and I was happy to see that they had Netflix etc, so I didn't have to scroll endlessly through cable with commercials.”
“The property is on a slope up and away from the highway, so it was fortunately quiet.
The breakfast was great with usual BW waffles.
The staff was great- pleasant and helpful.”
“This little cabin was perfect! You can see the main house from the driveway and front door, but with the direction of the home and an umbrella, you feel like you're all by yourself in the woods. There are some pups, but they were well behaved and didn't come around often. This is a great little cabin—perfect for a 2 person get-away—with all the amenities you will need. There was a coffee maker and tea, grill on the patio, and we were able to cook breakfast and dinner each day of our stay with……

However, the best part of our visit was the staff. They are caring, responsive, polite, and fun! My wife will only stay at the Rest Hotel when we return to Amador County Wine Country!”
“Overall, the bed was comfortable and the sheets were very clean. However, there was a strong smell of smoke in the room, and even ventilating the space didn't help. Even worse, some unknown device in the room kept vibrating and sounding an alarm; it emitted a piercing noise every few minutes throughout the entire night. We tried all night to figure out what was causing the sound but couldn't locate the source, which meant we didn't get any sleep.
We had high expectations for this historic hotel……
“No photos do the Grand Reserve the true justice it deserves as one of the memorable stays of mine for the past twenty years!
The villa was perched in the middle of a vineyard, across a bridge in the rolling hills of Plymouth. We were checked in personally by Russ who had prepared a charcuterie board for our arrival in the room. The room was well appointed and comfortable, and views of vines from two directions.
The common areas include a courtyard, large great room and beautiful patio area……
