Pleasant stay

I was a little worried after reading past reviews, but we arrived and the house was exactly as advertised and very clean. It was a great location for our Disney weekend getaway and our son loved the pool after a long day at the amusement park. Would definitely rent again.

Make sure you get a QR code

We arrived late, 2am and the guard at the gate would not let us in unless we had a QR code. Took us almost an hour for VASCA to get us the code. Condo was clean, but no toilet paper in the downstairs bathroom. Pool was nice and warm and resort pool was very nice. All the beds were good except the full mattress. It would be fine for a child, but uncomfortable for adults. Should provide more laundry detergent. At check out they ask to have a load of laundry started, but only gave us one detergent so we had done the pool towels the night before so we were unable to help the cleaning crew.

Great place!!!

What a lovely place to wait out a hurricane!!! We felt so safe and the property was amazing. We weren’t able to use the code to check in but staff helped us immediately.

A few issues with the home, great location, overall good stay

The house could have been cleaner. The internet service provider had several long outages. The furniture and beds were all comfortable. The gated community was quiet and safe. The location was conveniently located to entertainment, shopping, and restaurants. The small pool was nice for children to play in.

False advertisement said it was gonna be it could be an early check-in definitely was not early. Check-in didn’t get in until after 4 o’clock then also I could not get my QR code exactly as a time I was supposed to. I had trouble with getting that we got into the rental, two blinds was already down water starting leaking from the toilets. Real bad to a point where about 3 inches of water covering my feet almost to my ankles then water started dripping on my head and my kids fails running on the water because it was wet everywhere I look up and there’s a big long crack on the roof that came from the bathroom leaking down on the floor and the table , my family had to get a cup to stop the drippings. We soaked up so many towels that’s not the end the Wi-Fi did not work at all. None of the TV worked. My kids cannot even watch their favorite show Disney Channel as they advertise on the app, Maintenance was called as soon as we found this problem no one came up. No one came out after they said they was going to ask her pictures I sent still nobody came out , very very horrible thing I would not recommend unless you call and make sure everything works and no leakage and the check-in time is and then you have your QR code. Thank you.

Not What We Expected

We rented this property for 6 weeks and will review it as a long term rental. The property is well stocked with comfortable furniture. The carpets require a deep clean, the unit could use a fresh coat of paint and the mattress' are not in great condition. The worst problem turned out to be German Roaches. After living with these pests for 10 days they were finally exterminated by pest control however we had to box everything up and leave the home for 5 hours. We continued to look for bugs the balance of our trip. Had cleaners done their job properly they would have caught this prior to our arrival! Next the power went out on the main floor for 24 hours along with the internet and TV. Vacasa compensated us for the cleaning fee and two days rental however we feel it was not sufficient. The BBQ is so rusted it was not useable and the pool heater never provided heat (we chose this property for the pool). We complained several times to Vacasa but nothing was done. We feel the home should have been in much better condition. Unless improvements are made we do not recomend renting this unit.

Perfect for families with Pets

I love the location of this property. It is located in a gated community. Be prepared when entering and exiting as sometimes the line backs up but it’s for safety reasons that I appreciate. If you travel with a pet this is a good place to stay.
