This is an incredible hotel. The attention to detail is second to none. It is wonderful having all the dining options and the overall feel of the place is very relaxed and friendly. Staff were lovely and attentive. One small thing I would say is, they could make it clearer on their website that there is an additional charge to use the downstairs pool and wellness area. But, really, I can't fault the place!

I absolutely adored the luxurious atmosphere of this amazing hotel. The inclusion of the BYREDO collection in the bathroom was a delightful touch that I thoroughly enjoyed. The staff were incredibly helpful and exceptionally kind throughout my stay. The room was impeccably clean and exuded a sophisticated ambiance. The restaurant was fantastic, and the breakfast provided was truly delightful. Additionally, the hotel's location was excellent, adding to the overall convenience and charm of my experience.

Cool art deco stay in Oslo
The Sommero is the last chapter in the 'finding my best fav hotels in Nordics'... Oslo is now on the map. What a cool vibe it has and it just oozes a retro art deco surroundings... oh and the food is amazeballs on the 8th floor

Over priced for what it is. Didn’t have a bath, sauna was 500nok extra per person, absolutely ridiculous. Would stay again. Breakfast was included however and was very very good

Superb stay for sightseeing in Oslo. Don’t be concerned that the location looks slightly outside the centre, it’s actually just a short walk to Aker Brygge and then to the rest of the city. A memorable hotel we loved for the grand dining room/bar where we enjoyed drinks with live jazz music.

Absolutely no handicapped access facilities. So bad, not even breakfast was feasible. No place to put luggage in room, except on floor, which is hard for a handicapped person. Oh, and the coffee maker did not work. Outrageous prices for extras. Never again.

The place to stay in Oslo!
One of the best hotel experiences I have had in Oslo. It's up there with the Thief. Very nice stay and amazing breakfast!

Hey shoutout for the friendly staff, however you can’t call other rooms , and I’d call 1 for the guest service takes around 20 to 30 minutes for someone to pickup up! Great breakfast area

Sommerro was one of the nicest hotels I've stayed at. It's new, and they have spared no expense to please their customers, yet it's reasonably priced. The rooms are gorgeous & clean. The beds are amazingly comfortable. Little amenities like water stations (still & gas, plus ice) on every floor where you can fill your carafe are a terrific touch. The gym is state-of-the-art. The restaurants are fabulous. There's a rooftop one that's nice for drinks & a great view. The service is impeccable. We did not want to leave! If you're in Oslo, you MUST stay here.

We loved everything about it. It is unique--public areas & rooms are art deco. You can walk everywhere. Staff is knowledgeable & considerate. The restaurant had superb ambience & wonderful food. It was our best hotel experience ever, and we travel a lot!
