"The house was beautiful and in a great location. The history of the home and decor was amazing. I went here with my husband's side of his dad's family. There was 12 of us. Perfect number of rooms and beds for all of us. Beautiful view of the lake. There are 3 refrigerators, 4.5 baths, 2 laundry facilities, and 4 sitting areas. Only 1 bedroom on the main floor and the rest upstairs. I would like a way to go to the water from the backyard but it was fine. The view was spectacular. Need to know - temp needs to be set to 74 in the summer, strip all sheets from beds used before checking out, wash all loads over 3 (sheets and towels but wash separately), take all trash out. Other than making sure all laundry was done for the house, we all really loved staying at this house and hope to stay here in the future!!!If you are looking for a queit, relaxing, and tranquil place to stay, this house is perfect. I highly recommend this house as a place to stay near Starved Rock, IL."

So close to the State Parks and shopping in Ottawa. We ENJOYED all being able to be together in the open concept room. There was the perfect place to enjoy yoga next to the lake in the morning. It truly was everything we were hoping for and more!! The Hosts, Ryan and Kiki, were AMAZING as well!! They answered any questions we had right away. They were very helpful! I would definetly recommend and stay here again!!"
